trucks are for pussies compensating for something they lack
it. I lack a penis.trucks are for pussies compensating for something they lack
IMO toyotas and chevy's come off the lot looking more like small girlie trucks. Fords and Dodges look much better coming off the lot. No lifts and tires needed for those two.
still not a whole lot of clearance, esp if you get the gayeass step rail thingie.
a 3" lift should be mandatory for anyone planning on doing even the slightest offroading.
perfume collecions are for cross dressers compensaiting for something they lack (a vag)
06' GMC Sierra Pro Sport edition
corsa stainless steel exhaust
side steps
bed cover
rain guards
22" factory chromes(on denalies)
All Alpine for sound
12 inch custom box under seats
siiiiiiick stereo
second set of winter tires
will post pics in April when I put my rims on
otherwise it looks plain jane
nice bro.
the problem i have with this rim size, though, is that you basically limit what you can do with the vehicle offroad wise...looks good on the road, but def worthless off.
i have made this mistake...18" wheels with a meat tire is a better look for a truck imo.
my winters are 17's perfect in the snow
my ride looks badass with the chromes
gotcha.
pavement queen, or do you get it dirty?
post some pics plz

what about snowplowing, hauling mulch, salt spreader etc..?still not a whole lot of clearance, esp if you get the gayeass step rail thingie.

It's a queen truck for the mostpart
I'm not afraid to toss shit in the bed if needed (firewood and work usage)
Lambruh, you need a 2500 series to handle a plow
f150 with the bigger liter cylinders would work, esp for the midlevel amount of snow he will deal with in chi/cleveland.
autotrader and cars.com are good sites to search
good point
north east is heavy, wet snow
need heavy duty trucks
still, a plow is gonna wreck a stock F 150 in a few years
If you don't plan on owning for that long
Most F150s overtime are not durable trucks
cheap=crap sometimes
not sayin all ford is junk
Trucks are still a STEAL, and go with Binos advice and buy slightly used (do a carfax report)
That way, you are not the ones taking a bath
cheap though.
maybe lambruh would be better served buying a used disel.
get one with high miles, 150k or so, for around 20k.
more upkeep costs but he can keep it around for longer
bino, my dad's cummins dodge has 250k miles, he'll drive it for 5 more years at least. It's a farm truck too, and sees a lot of trailers
this guy at my work has a 2004 F150 with 140k, Triton V8, 4x4, shortbed
He wants to get rid of it for $6000, I'm thinking about just buying it and using it as some side job plowing in the winter, and pulling a equip trailer

I wouldn't spend 6k on a 150 with that many miles, esp if you want to plow snow with it. Get a 3/4 or 1 ton with a straight front axle. They can take way more weight and abuse. One more thing is the pick-ups when empty SUCK on ice. The rear end is so light it wants to come around on you. Best put a few hundred pounds of sand in the back. The it can be used as needed for traction etc.
I have a 02 F350 diesel 4x4 and pull a 40' toy hauler with it. I don't think I'd trust much else. If you want a nice ride but not heavy duty that F150 would be fine.
excuse my n00bery, but don't all new trucks have IFS?

Chevy and Ford do... Dodge still has a straight front axle.

unless you are hardcore about offroading, str8 axle seems like overkill for the avg dutchbag.
though it'd be fun at times, esp the electronic lockers
