TRT - Question

hulksterii

New member
I am currently doing 400mg a week of Test Cyp and have done so for the past 8 - weeks. I need to get back on a regular prescription cycle of 200mg a week. My question is: should I just stop altogether and start a PCT or just cycle into the 200mg treatment routine?

BTW I've made some incredible stregth gains and put on 20Lbs of mostly muscle - I think. I would hate to lose alot of this but understand it is part of the game....

Comments/Guidance/Help?

id run it another 4 weeks personally. why do you want to do pct if your on hrt? its pretty much useless. are you running any hcg?

Yep, sure am, I run HCG 500IU 2x a week.

So, are you saying Bro that I should just stay on the 200mg a week for the next 10 weeks or move onto a PCT now? What I'm looking for is some notional limit on using Test Cyp. Make sense?

Just just right to 200mgs no need for pct when on trt. Just make sure you use your hcg as perscribed and have adex on hand. I take 200mgs every 10 days for trt and take adex .25 e3d.

id run 400mg for the next 4 weeks, then drop down to your normal 200 for a couple of months, then jump back to 400 a week for 12 weeks, or whatever cycle you want to run. no pct. if you wanted to recover you wouldnt be on hrt would u?

Trying to make my point here. I am on TRT 200mg ew, Arimidex as needed, and 1,000 IU HCG ew. I am 47 but went on HRT because I had the symptoms etc... I went to an Internet Osteopath to get my 6 months of prescriptions. So, instead of using 200mg I doubled up for 8 weeks to see what would happen. The results to me were impressive to say the least. I have gained 20Lbs and the pumps in the gym are incredible -where was this shit10 years ago.

My concern is that I might affect my liver by not taking a breather from the 400mg. Do I need to? I'll btw get a blood test in a couple of weeks.

If I do just take a break from the Test Cyp. I am concerned about a shut down and loss of gains. Kind of stuck here on what to do...

I am on HRT I was taking 400mg of test per week, when I dropped down I did take HCG for 2 weeks because that is what the dr. said. I am not gyno prone so I don't take anything else. I am now taking 200mg of test per week. It really depends on your personal situation, since your dr. doesn't know the only real way to know what it is doing to your liver is to keep taking the 400mg per week and get a blood test to see how it is affecting you. Of course your Dr. will see your super high test levels and probably cut your scrip

Im on HRT and when I come off of test cycle I usually do 2 weeks of HCG (just to get the nads looking right again)then I go back to 200 mgs a week with .25 dex e3d.I dont lose too much of my cycle gains(maybe some water)but the transition is so smooth.

I've used the search function and found some input about my situation but am still not clear on a couple of facets of HRT and a true "cycle".

How much of Test Cyp per week would constitute a cycle? > 200mg?

I guess a blood test will confirm whether I can continue or must get off of HRT.

Thanks

hrt basically is a low dose cycle. 200mg is a pretty high dose considering your body naturally produces between 5 and 10mg a day.

Damn. My Dr does not prescribe over 100mgs a week. I am drooling thinking about 200mgs a week! Then again, I can't work out right now so I am not even taking the 100mgs. I am sputtering along at 302ng/dl. Not fun!

Just go right back to your TRT dose bro.

Thanks so much for the comments guys. I'll take the dvice and go back to the TRT as scripted.....

One other question in this regard, after I get my blood work going and am good to go for another 6-months what should I stack with Test Cyp? I am currently 215Lbs, 6'3" and would like to go up another 15-20Lbs. I do feel that some of the gains that I have currently carry some water retention.... I was considering adding 6-weeks of Dbol or Anavar.

I would add deca, when I did I had great results. 200mg per week also by script! Well actually my script right now is for 500mg/wk of cyp and 500mg/wk of deca but there is no way I am going to take that much.

So what is the secret bro (4T) on getting that much scripted? I had a fight with the doc. to just get 200mg a week.

I woudl very much like to stay legal for professional work reasons......

Does Deca help with stomach fat - which I very much would like to cut.

On HRT myself and I do no PCT when I come off.

However, I do taper down. I know what some may think. The ester will taper for you BUT it seems smoother to me and I have done it both ways.

So fill me in please. If you do taper off of a cycle what are doing - purely test? How long do you go on the HRT cycle?

I am new to this and feeling my way around but it appears that TRT/HRT is an ongoing committment from a physiology perspective. So no stopping HRT and then reseting back to where one started from - speaking purely of test levels prior to HRT.

I've seen a post where Nelson mentioned "a lifetime of TRT". I guess this means you are on it forever (providing you can pay for it). My doc BTW did not warn me of this committment......

Yes, my HRT consists of just test.

Yes it's pretty much a lifetime commitment.

If you T levels are naturally in the dumps, why would you come off of HRT? They would just go back down.

I was tested in my late 30's and I was low. My doc is very liberal and lets me stay in the upper range but he does require blood tests every six months.

I have been on for several years now and will never come off unless a problem arises.

As far as cost is concerened, after insurance is factored in my cost is minimal but in my opinion, even if I had to pay full price it's worth it.....
