TRT and Cycles

For those on TRT...Im assuming that most on this program from a Doc will be lifers. That being said, for those that cycle while on a TRT program, do or have any of you run any form of PCT? Or is your baseline TRT protocol actually your PCT. Hope Im being clear. Second Question. For those that have done this..if one were taking say 150 mg of test E a week and ramped to 450 for a 6-8 week cycle, would you expect to keep all or most gains when reverting back to normal TRT dosages. Thanks

I will let you knw when I finish my cycle while being in trt.

Use code "Pimp20" at ntbm to save 20% and free shipping.

Most people will say you don't need PCT while on HRT, but I disagree. They think as long as you're replacing the T it doesn't matter, but that's only a part of the picture.

Being on TRT may or may not allow you to keep more gains after blasting and returning to TRT dose. Training and Diet will still dictate how much you retain. Somebody that has a great PCT, diet, and training that isn't on TRT will get generally retain most of their gains as well

Its odd that most doctors dont prescribe some form of PCT while on TRT just to keep your nads alert a bit. I would assume that some Docs figure if your on, your on for good, but to me that seems a bit foolish. Someone could develop an illness which may prevent further TRT use in which case, if you had already been on for years with no stopping you may never be able to normalize your T levels.

^^^ its not odd... docs are fools. it is up to everyone to do their own homework and not depend on doctors to do whats right for them. 99% of people who go on TRT are not even aware that it will shut your own hormones down. docs don't discuss that with them and have a plan B in case they ever have to come off.

thats a very good point. That being said then I guess if your in good health, all your labs come in ok. Then there really is no reason to take PCT while on TRT?

This is a good thread, i'd be interested to hear what more guys who are on TRT do. IF you do a blast while on TRT, do you stop taking the test during PCT, assuming that you would do one? I'd imagine that someone who is on TRT and then does a blast would be so suppressed and would have to do a very long PCT to recover, because they have been taking test for so long so was probably shut down for that long.

I would imagine that if one does a blast while on TRT that the baseline TRT protocol becomes PCT in essence. I mean why would one run PCT if your going to continue, most likely infinately on TRT. This is why TRT is such a big decision to make. You are on a lifelong cycle regardless of how you label it.
