Trouble finding a suitable school

I love full-contact fighting (UFC, Pride, King of the Cage, Cage Rage...). There is nothing in life I enjoy more or train harder for. I have strong convictions that it is what I want to do with my life. However, I live in Indiana, a veritable wasteland for fighting arts of any kind. There are several decent dojos here, but they all specialize in a single style. I can't deal with mastering one style, throwing out all the moves that don't apply to MMA, and so on and so forth with every style out there. I'd like to cut the crap and just learn how to be the best at MMA that I can be. Does anyone know of any schools in Indiana that sound right for me? I am mainly on the Northside of Indy and Muncie, but I will drive.

(Yes, I have tried dojo-search websites...came up with mostly crap...except for one that I am still trying to contact...Indiana MMA Academy.)

Thanks, Monteiro seems like what I am looking for. Greg Eldred was very professional and knowledgeable, but his school trains straight BJJ and only with a gi. I need to learn striking and would rather not spend too much time on learning how to manipulate a gi.

IMO you would be best taking 1 or 2 styles and just try to excel at them as best you can maybe the bjj school and then a good striking school in the area.

you gotta deal with what you got you know. lots of great mma fighters were pretty much 1 style guys then just trained a bit in 1 or 2 other styles to round themselves out. you didnt mention how much experience you have or what you have trained in but it is definately a good thing to have a solid base in 1 or 2 arts

the bjj school still might be viable
you may be forced to do 2 different things and just blend them yourself
if the mma school dosn't work out

working with a gi and without is pretty much the same for the first few years, give me someone who has trained without gi and someone who has trained with for 6 months and I guarantee you the gi person is tighter and better at escapes, now when you get to a higher level it is a different story, but I am talking purple belt. Take 2 years to learn with a gi and do some boxing. Hell even Wanderlai Silva trains with a gi up until a month before a match(when doing ground training), must be something to it.

youc ould consider during sparring limiting yourself to no gimanuvers
then you'd be training at a disadvantage and when you went against someone on a level playing field you'd ahve one up on them
