I recently tore the living piss outta my left tricep doing "skull crushers". I gave it about a month and a half, and was back to doing arms again.
A couple of things I did, and would highly recommend are using heat on it at night before you go to sleep. Take some kind of anti-inflamatory to keep it from getting inflamed throughout the day so it can heal. And start back VERY LIGHT, when it is healed. It'll eventually be able to handle heavy weight again. While I was back to working tri's in 1 1/2 months, I am just now beginning to go semi heavy again. Jumping straight to heavy weight after a serious injury can put you out of the game for good, or a very long time. Give it time, dont even think about working tri's until it feels COMPELETLY ok.
