my training partner (early to mid 50's max bench 350#) several months ago partially tore his pec near the shoulder (according to urgent care doctor). the whole damn thing was black and blue (i mean seriously black and blue) from shoulder to wrist. anyway, my question, to anyone who has had, or has knowledge of this type of injury, what are the normal recovery timeframes? 50%, 75%, 100%? waiting on him to heal is really throwing off my routine, and i think for him it's more mental at this point than physical. thanks for any info guys!
