Torn Muscles

I had always heard that one of the unfortunate sides of gear was that your muscles get stronger than your tendons and your muscles and/or tendons can tear. Has this happened to anyone here?

Reason I ask is my bench is getting way high. The most I ever worked with was 3 sets of 5 for 455lbs (pre-cycle). Now I am doing like 3 sets of 6 to 7 at 480 and it feels very easy. I am worried about going up any higher for fear of tearing something.

I tore a muscle in my arm just a week ago. i was not even at the gym just at work. Do a search on the net to find out more but it is due to overexertion. To prevent tears you must warm up properly. This is a big thing. Also dont do any real jerky movements. I did not know i tore my muscle until the next day whn i woke up with pain and fair bit of bruising ensued.

its is true and it just happened to me while I was running down the field for a block on a damn kickoff return
damn it, IT HURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But most of the time I can feel the side effect of juicing and tendons with my arms, especially the forearms

Happened to my work out partner, he threw a rock and it tore his shoulder muscle, the still cannot do shoulders in the gym and that was 2 months ago!

Personally I think I am less likely to hurt myself when on gear.

I did tear my biceps tendon, doing flyes, but this was not during a cycle.

I focus much more on technique and pump when on gear then off.

Throwing a rock. hehe. That reminds me. My buddy was getting chased by a deer onetime, so he picked up a rock and threw it at the deer. It broke the deers leg. How fucking ironic. LOL, funny funny shit. Just had to share that with you. (Damn, too much 1,4 for Intramuscular tonight.)

just say you know that your bench has gone up 40 pounds in 2 weeks dont just jump and give it a try do it slowly.....
