Everybody is a "changed man" once they're caught. Who cares if he changed. He still did what he did. He's garbage. The world's a better place without him.

On a similar note, there's a site dedicated to old time bodybuilders which in concept is pretty cool. But half of the members reagrd anyone who lifted weights before 1980 as gods. I recently read a post where they were talking about Bertil Fox and what a great champion he was. The prick killed his wife an mother in law!!! When I brought up that little fact I was told I was being negative and in risk of being banned. (No lie). I told them to do me a favor and ban me. Stupidity comes in all ages.

Having muscles doesn't make you a good or bad person and it's a shame that people will equate the two.

I can't believe you think that. You are a disgrace to the families of the people he murdered in cold blood. have you read about his crimes? He NEVER EVEN apologized after all of those years.

He was a drug dealing piece of shit that brought chaos to his community, he had helped ruin an entire generation of young peoples lives and he has killed innocent people.

I agree with the Old Vet, he's a worthless piece of shit. And doesn't deserve anything else but that statement.

Curious question...are US jails meant for punishment AND rehabilitation or just punishment? As far as i was aware, its the former. As such, if he did prove a credit to humanity, he should have been considered rehabilitated.

If no one ever received a second chance on a first wrong, this board would be empty.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion however he has always claimed innocense of the murders and it is thought by many that he was set up by corrupt police officers. I don't think anyone can say for sure whether he did or didn't. Around this time it was very well known and common for police to set up the african Americans of south central and their predujice is extremely well know; And to those who feel he never changed, the man educated himself in prison, he is known for his great anti gang work and he was nominated for the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE - and he managed all this from his prison cell. Obviously he is undoubtedly guilty of many gang related crimes and agree for this he should be punished. However no-one can deny his amazing work from prison. I don't see why he couldn't have simply received lifetime in prison which is still a big punishment but he could have continued his work for peace and leading youths away from a gang life from prison. If he was so awful and clearly guilty of murder I don't believe he would have managed to get such a large number of people on his side and protesting for his life including many actors, musicians, Anthony Robbins and Nelson Mandela's wife - a woman known as mother Africa.

I don't agree with what the man did and I think that he should be punished for it the wa that the judge saw fit but from what some of you guys are saying it seems like you don't think a person can change.
