i recently started a new program. I lift heavey 3 days a week and light 2 days a week. Monday ill do chest, shoulders, and tris. about 4 lifts a peice, tuesday is legs and bis, same amounts, wednesday upperback, then thursday i do light of the monday workout with sets of 12 of everything, and so on and so on with the other routines. First 3 weeks is heay 8's, second three weeks is heavy 6's, then heavy 5's, then heavy 3's. Is this too much, i have noticed a decrease in my shoulder size since i have not been working each body part one day a week. Is this a good program, or will i get dimished results. PS the guy i got this program from use to play pro football, and trained with the russian powwerlifting team and he swares by it and the guy was huge, and looked pretty clean? Should i continue or go back to my old routine?

overtraining is hard when youa re on....I usually only train a bodypart once a week, when on or off, I just beat it into submission......I might try a different lifting routine, where I have 3 workouts, but you lift 5 days on one off...liekt he following 12312 off 31231 off 23123 of, etc.....
