For every pair you buy they send a pair to some shoeless kid in africa or something which is cool. Simple shoe, simple design. Pretty flat, minimalist.
 
They don't look very sturdy but I've never tried a pair on..
 
I can see why they are not sold in the U.S.

When they get loose, just wash/dry them. They get tighter bc they're canvas. I just washed mine yesterday.

TOMS are sold in the U.S. They're sold in my Whole Foods and they're sold at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus both online and in stores. Lol Where have you been?

Funny you say that though, bc the guy that turned me on to TOMS a couple years ago lives in Manhattan.

Anyways, TOMS is awesome. For every pair you buy, they give a pair to a kid who needs shoes somewhere.

They are taking off up here in Canada too. Seeing them more and more. Reminds me of shoes from the 80's...guess I'm officially old! lol

i wouldnt buy them solely for the fact that african kids get a free pair. how would the chinese kid who made them feel bout that.

Lol...you would have a point there but they are made in the US. That is why a piece of fucking canvas stitched together on rubber costs you like $60.
 
american made huh? well that might be why they appear so shitty lookin. they will probably fall apart im guessing. im still against the africans gettin a free pair. they produce world class long distance runners simply because they have no cars and have to run everywhere, and they also run barefoot. u cant switch it up now. it works for them
 
wrestling shoes are the ideal squatting/deadlifting shoe imo, to hell with all these gimmicky BS shit.
