He put Barrett Jackman ( Blue Rookie of the year defenseman last year ) out for this year with a similar hit to the back eariler this year. Its a pattern for that guy.

I am not gonna defend Bertuzzi for what he did last night but this is completely rediculous. Bertuzzi hit jackman shoulder to shoulder as Jackman was coming around behind the net. He came at him head on, and Jackman himself said it was a clean hit.

Bertuzzi is a fucking coward. I understand fighting is part of the game, but you don't punch someone in the back of the neck from behind like that. If he ever does go back to the NHL (which I hope he doesn't) I hope someone does it too him.

He should be suspended for at least a year. Tonight he was quoted as saying that he didn't intend to hurt Moore. What did he think that hitting him in the back of the head and then driving his head into the ice was going yo do? Suspend him and let the courts deal with him if they choose to.

The Moore hit was within the rules....it was delivered with his shoulder, not his elbow. The fact that Naslund was concussed on the hit does not make it a dirty hit...when you get drilled with a shoulder to the head when you are looking down at the puck, you almost always get knocked silly. Bertuzzi's assault from behind on Moore is a whole different scenario: a premeditated sucker-punch and then a bulldog from behind that was a deliberate attempt to injure.

Agreed. Naslund himself said his team needs to worry more about winning than avenging the hit.

The two teams have met TWICE since the game where Moore hit Naslund. In the first game (a close game), no retaliation happened.

In the second game, the Canucks were getting BLOWN OUT 6-2 so it was a lost cause anyways.

The messed up thing is, Bertuzzi was goading him for a while before the hit. Moore was trying to keep his nose clean and just play the game. Bertuzzi actually THREW HIS STICK AWAY right before the punch.

That is fucked up. Guy should be suspended a FULL SEASON.

No, he is a fucking hypocrite. He bashed McSorley so badly for his stick to the face incident and does this and the one to the Blues rookie.
