How long is the line (wait) to come back across? Last time I went it was pushing 3 hrs. I plan on going in the early morning, so hopefully it wont be that bad. Got to catch a donkey show and throw back some tequilla poppers.

A donkey show. All the times I've been down there and still never seen one. It's been months but the last time I was there it was about a 2 hour wait. But I ususally go on Saturdays and try and come across when it's busy...

On sat and sun the wait is long. If you go during the week (the earlier in the week the better) there will be far less wait...sometimes no wait. Also avoid returning in the evening rush hour.

I think if you go in the week by yourself, you raise more suspicion. I was there about 6 weeks ago and it was a long wait. I don't think it is going to get better any time soon. They are even more vigilant now because of terrorism -- which is a lot more life-and-death than drugs. But during the week is probably a lot faster. But if you are a clean-cut young male with an athletic build just strutting across by yourself during the week and aren't declaring anything, if they do not become suspicious I would be surprised.

well i guess i'll be the only one who visits that place often, you can not really predict the wait sometimes last weekend i waited 20mins but i was on the bus mexicoach it was 2 in the afternoon on satarday and there was no wait like 10-20 mins on foot other days it's like 2-3 hours but you can always rent a bike for like..well it ranges they change the price depending on how busy it is on slow days it's 5-6$ on busy 7$ but that will get you through the border inlike 10-20mins no longer best way if you got the cash....like i said you could never tell....but weekend do tend to be a little busy

I just went on Sunday and the wait during rush hour was about an hour maby an hour and a half. Drove across, and had no problems.

Solid, I always, ALWAYS catch a bus going back across the border. That way if there's a long wait, at least I sitting on my fat ass reading a book.

I've done the bus route before. I'm going over on foot with my bro and a girlfriend, we're gonna go get something to eat and have a few drinks around lunch time so I hope all will go smooth
