To my good bro's..

chefbone

High End Bro
Platinum
Well, my fuggin' ol' man is back in the hospital. He was there a year ago for the same shit. I said to him he has to watch what he consumes.
By the way, I'm drunk, and I*'ll be going back out soon.

The mutha fugga eats like shit, drinks his fuggin ass off and expects to be 100 years old.
Tomorrow, I'm going to break it down for him, because right now, I'm drinking and don't want to cause a conflict.
Any peeps have suggestions b4 I leave again? He has Diverticulitis(sp?) again?
AGGHHHHHH :Chef: :tuc:
Good bors, help a nukka out

Chefbone, sorry to hear that bro...old dogs dont like new tricks, in my experience....it seems as tho they give up in a way, and they dont care...there are times when they get an opportunity to reflect, and make changes for the better...but those are few and far between. best wishes to you and yours, perhaps you will enlighten him...

I'm going to tomorrow before surgery. That mutha fugga is all stressed out about me going to the service and shit he neglects himself and his health.
This is my fathers diet, be prepared:
Wake up: Instant oatmeal pack
Lunch: Ice Tea
Get out of work: 3 shots of White Sauza
Meal 4: 2 or 3 Mich ultras+ 2 or 3 more shots of White Sauza
Meal 5: High G.I. Carb garbage fuggin dinner
Meal 6: Pass the fuck out

Obviously my EF bors know that this is not a healthy diet. He's fuggin'....I'm thinkin'....55 years old. So tomorrow, I'm breakin' it down for him. Get his fuggin' shite together. And, on top of it all, he lives with this broad who scams him for his genorosity. UUUGGGHHHHHH :Chef: :tuc:

Older men such as your (and mine) father don't like changes and don't like to make changes even when they know it's bad for their health. Which they DO know. And it's an endless source of frustration for us having to watch the whole thing.

I feel for ya CB......hang in there!! :rose:

man, gotta be carefull: my friends dad had a heart attack and died 5 days ago. They all thought its from nowhere, but: not eating healthy, being a couch potato, smoking, not getting outside enough....
Hope everything turns out good and he needs to take things seriously

I hear you loud and clear bro. I have a similar situation with my father.

I've been on his case for the last year nagging him to do some kind of exercise and to at least eat the right foods. I'm at the point now where I've given up whinging, I just go to his house and throw all the shit away that he shouldn't be eating. I've started cooking at least one meal a day for him and I take him with me to go exercise (even if it's just a stroll along the beach) whenever I can. He's had to wear a heart monitor for the last two weeks. Losing so much sleep worring about him and wondering what I can do.

I hope everything goes well with your father.

i feel for you, maing. i lost my dad almost 10 years ago. i fought hard for him. i tried to get him to change his ways. it didn't work. either i didn't try hard enuff or....anyway, all i can say to you is, make sure you clear your conscience with him, let him know how you feel. leave nothing to regret, leave nothing unsaid.

Love

Love means to learn to look at yourself
The way one looks at distant things
For you are only one thing among many.
And whoever sees that way heals his heart,
Without knowing it, from various ills
A bird and a tree say to him: Friend.
Then he wants to use himself and things
So that they stand in the glow of ripeness.
It doesnt matter whether he knows what he serves:
Who serves best doesnt always understand.

I hope he can straighten things out man, I bet he is a good bro deep inside too.

well, no surgery yet for the ol' man. Now, the Docs are saying it could be something completely different.
Thanks to all for the concern. Good bors and orbettes in here!
