I watched the UFC 49 last night and I dont see how the f*&( Liddell keeps from getting pounded.. He has a very minimal ground game and he is knocking out opponents that are Judo and Shoot fighting trained.. I think Tito will be victorious this time.... peace out
 
anything is possible in the fight game.......Tito though has come off some very weak fights lately though.....his fights with shamrock were a joke, he squeked by Griffin.....in the same time frame Lidell beat Couture twice, Babalu......and someone else, I can't remeber. Anyway.....I still think it's going to be a good fight. Tito will NOT stand with Chuck this time......so we're going to see just how good chuck's sprawl is.

Chuck's sprawl is awesome, and previously stated, even if Tito managed to take Chuck down ... Chuck would just stand up on him and walk away.

that's not a given......I know he stood up with couture, but Tito's stronger than Randy......it's gonna be fun either way.

Randleman wanted to prove he could stand with chuck....because of how Rampage handled Chuck over in pride. Yup, bad move.......you are right, on paper Tito should be no exception......but I just have a bad feeling about this fight.....hope I'm wrong though.
 
I know anything is possible in MMA and if Chuck comes in woefully out of shape and Tito is in awesome shape the picture can change.

But, basically I don't think Tito can hold an avantageous ground position and he certainly can't beat him standing.

We'll see ... and I'll be 10,000 k richer.

We'll see, Chuck has bombs when he is on his feet and great takedown defense. Tito has some good takedowns and his groundwork is good. Tito needs to survive the standup and get him to the ground.
Then we will have a fight.
Even if Chuck gets up, Tito needs to do some damage on the gound while he has him down.
I can't wait to see this.
 
Tito caught a thumb in the last fight, Chuck will get his ass handed to him.
 
If I wasn't so sure Chuck would win do you think I would go on record so adamantly?

great fight, i was so glad they didnt stop it in the first round when chuck gottem with that pounding... i wasnt satisfied , but liddell clearly was a better man lastnight. but lb for lb 205 in the world naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

tito definetly had a chance. he just needed a better game plan. his wrestling takedown bushit would have never worked on and expert of the sprawl.

i would have used more judo take downs.

He didn't work the takedowns very hard or well. He didn't try to get Chuck against the cage either.
I like Tito, but if he is cocky enough to believe he can last the fight standing with Chuck he is going to keep getting knocked the fuck out.
His game plan was non existant after the first round, it was survival time.
 
your right, after the first round and i got hurt like that... i would make chuck come to me. try and set the tempo. he needed that fence

Pretty sure you should watch the Chuck vs. Rampage fight in Pride. His ability to stand right back up is aided significantly by the cage. It's not so easy in a ring.
 
they need to bring in some pride guys to challenge Chuck......I think his time in pride is why he's so dominate, Even though he didn't do so well......the experience was invaluable. Hopefully Tito will get to fight some of those guys too.......make himself better. Right now there are no fights in the LHW division for either Tito or Chuck. Tito might get to fight sobral......but who's chuck going to fight now? Griffen ain't ready........it's all about Rampage now.

They are as Rampage is coming to the UFC. There is a clip on youtube where rampage jackson completely destroys lidell. Unless Rampage has changed weight classes
