For those of us who don't want to grow old gracefully, what treatments are there for tightening the skin on your body?
I often look at guys/women in their 50s. Their skin seems to sag. Laser surgery retightens skin, but I am not sure if it is effective on the body or whether it is practical to treat areas so much larger than the face, even if cost isn't an issue.
A friend of mine told me of a documentary he watched whereby a large amount of skin was cut out of a woman's midsection and the skin in her lower body and torso pulled tight together.
Skin on the back often droops down and needs to be pulled up. To do this I would think that an area of skin around the neck would need to be removed and the skin pulled up.
I suppose there are issues with scars showing though. If scarring was 100% treatable I suppose there would be so many more things cosmetic surgery could achieve.
In any case, does anyone have any knowledge they can share for those of use who would like to have nice tight young looking skin in our 50s? Prevention of skin aging is not sufficient in itself.
