this sh*t ain't funny ...

I'd definitely throw adderal or some other amphetamine into that mix.

The guy I used to go out with would snort adderal before going out to drink.

i actually used to do that too, and it made it WAY easier to get girls. All your inhibitions/insecurity gone, with mental sharpness still in tact

This is a practice they are really attempting to change. I was constantly hearing from my fiance through residency how all of her attending's were very particular with who was getting prescribed narcotics. She has to turn them down constantly and stiff them with an ibuprofen or Tylenol. These are the constant drug seekers with no legitimate pain. This new ideology came about when pharmacuticals company's couldn't meet demand for the high rate of distribution. The primary drug would 'run out' was percocet, thus making them the highest priced street narcotic because of unavailability.

They are trying to curtail prescription drug abuse, but the economics are against them.

If someone wants drugs, they can complain about back pain until one of two things happen:

1) Someone gives them the drugs they want.

2) They finally find an enthusiastic cutter who will do a two level fusion for a mere all-in cost of ~$30,000.

It's the new medicare!
