I was a 230 pounds in that pic at 7%

My training was easy 3 days a week 30 min a day and almost no cardio, mostly I was on a strong Diet...

damn how the hell do you get to 230 at 5.10 looking that good? i am about that ht and 192 AFTER a cycle. boy think i would have to triple AAS use to get that big! you carry 230 well castro.

Impressive change!!! I suppose you were muscular before, perhaps you neglected your diet and life habits, then you got back into the track and dropped away all that fat. Is that your case? would you tell us a bit more about your background?

what kind of supplements did you take??? only supps???? you really looks stacked man!

I always train on and off but never that hard core about I thout all that diet crap was PS, LiL did I know it was every thing Pluss I drank beer like a fish and ate every thing in site, Ive ate 50 chicken wings and 5 32 ounce beers in one sitting LOL right before bed time (not smart).........

Pluss I didnt know the 1st thing about supps untill I started reading more about it on the net. along with diet and training......

Keeping it clean, taken some supps but no biggy...
Im going to jump up to 250 and train my legs hard

This would be of great help to many of us. I work out twice as much as you and my results are not even in your ballpark.

I got nothing against the roid version but I am too afraid to get busted over it. Since I work out at home, by myself, I don't build up those type of connections.

Incredible change! Shows what you can really do with a committment to change diet. were you doing a whjole lot of cardio? Would like to know what supplements you use...and the kinds of cycles you ran.

I hear you bro I am fat right now and I hate it but it is the only way I can put on Mass.................or keep it on, its like a yoyo, but its winter so no need for the tank tops.....

as for supps I take them only in the summer when Im dieting....

Cartio I realy dont do much of it at all, never realy did just a hard core diet...

My training is always the same, 3 days a week hard hard core for 25 min.

Mon. chest and Trys

Weds. Shoulders and Legs

Fri. Back and Bies

I used to work out 5 days a week and didnt note much then about 2 years ago I switched to this way and I started to grow...........again........

Now that I look at the pic. Man do I missssss the abs LOL
 
I am already starting to diet down. It takes me 5 months to get in the shape I want :(

in that newer pic, I actually did a double take as your physique looked just like mine did in some pics I took this last year....obviously I am impressed :)

training typically has always been heavy free weight stuff, basically the old school approach, and its worked pretty well. But now I have a top level trainer(never had a trainer before), and her routines are very heavy as well, but the exercises and reps change every workout, which I'm not used to, seems to be working well
In the avatar pic I was 5'8" and around 225lbs, it was around a week or so after a show that I did in the fall, I've been as heavy as 260lbs, currently in the 230s, with abs

Your training looks to be working very well bro...........

One thing that realy worked for me in my case was less is better, and diet is every thing in a nut shell...............needles to say good work bro.

Thanks it took me about almost a year but it was way worth it,

In alot of ways dropping the pounds saved my back and neas LOL............
 
Just shows the 140lb pussys that sacrifice and 3 chins DO PAY OFF!

This is my idea of bulking....Lee Priest Style = good stuff.

Ill tell you this much, I would of never got this big of a frame if I never bulked up that big.... not even 5 years ago I was like 185ibs and could not ad wait (Lean MASS) so after bulking up too 300ibs then cutting the fat off now Im a 220 pound frame nat., so adding fat can help in my book.......... :)
 
That is some incentive right there for all you lazy bastards wanting to shed a couple of lbs, nice work castro. Cant wait to see your progress over the rest of this year.

It's way easier to cut than to add....I'm impressed BDC...
 
You guys have me thinking about doing my first bulking diet EVER! No kidding. Never done one. I have always eaten real clean. Sometimes I just add more clean food.
I started working out in the summer of '97. I was almost 30% bf at 230. Fresh out of school. All I did was drink beer, eat subs and smoke weed. I ditched the shitty food and weed and worked my way down to 177 (way to thin at 6'3").
From there I upped my protein intake and got up to 200lbs by 2000. I ran a few cycles and stayed lean. Never more then 500mgs of test btw.
I am completely clean these days at 237 a little below 10% I believe. I plan on having my bf tested this week.
At the beginning of January I was 250 at 11%. I have a hard time going much higher then that. It screws with my head. After checking out the pictures you guys post I can't help but to admire the muscle density you guys have. Its awesome.
This thread has me thinking of trying to bulk (naturally) from October or so until the end of February. From there I would trim back down for the summer.
Do you guys train differently when bulking? How many meals a day?

Seriously slat...fat kids need muscle mass to carry around all that blob.

Fattiness allows the extra stretching of the fascia....that stretching also helps accelerate muscle growth.

Fatties have great growth potential if they can ever stop eating donuts.
 
thats a great transformation, and it shows what shedding some bf can do.. so many people will never be above 200 in any kind of conditon because they're so scared of losing their GQ abs (and of hard work, too) props to ya.

I'm lookin to be 230ish at 8-10% when I finish cutting next month, hope my after pic looks as good as yours :)

Yes I eat alot more carbs and fats about 2000 more cals, and I train heavy and less, like 2 to 3 times a week no cartio..... All the work outs are power lifter workouts..

Bench, Squat, dead lifts are your focal point then?
I am not a huge fan of cardio myself.

Thanks, Look it was a way to show people that any one can loose pounds. That DIET DIET DIET is the key...

People want to think that thare is a pill out thare that will do it for you, dont get me wrong some times I even fall for crap like that..... :)
