okay, so recently i started getting serious about getting bigger...i jumped from around 2,300 cals a day up to 4,000 a day...and it was a little tough for the first few days...well, today, I was about 4 meals in...I ate at 2:30 then went to the gym at 5:00 and got home and ate, right after I started getting light headed and threw up...this is only the third time ive ever thrown up in my whole life, and the second time came a week ago when i had food poisoning....i dont know whats going on...the only thing i can think of is, for my post workout shake i threw in some olive oil which made it taste really weird to me (I only use a cup of milk)...any thoughts or ideas on why I threw it all up? Could it just be my body adjusting to taking in so many calories? and is my day basically lost from losing that?

Hey man, heres my advice to you:

Bump your calories up slowly, add more each week. Also, why are you putting olive oil (fat) in your post workout shake and why does your post workout shake have milk in it? I was under the impression that post workout shakes should be quick absorbing (whey). Fat slows down the absorbtion

Thats just my input you should see what everyone else has to say though

my post workout shake is whey, i worded that wrong. What I was trying to say is that I only use a cup of milk with my whey shake, normally I see people using 2 cups, which would thin out the olive oil a little more...and you are right about the fat slowing down the process, I normally dont put it in for post workout, but I needed some extra calories today...
