Thinking about changing my split. (not a funny thead, sorry buffalo)

Currently I do:

Chest / Calves
Biceps / Forearm
Legs
Shoulder / Triceps
Back / Traps
off

Then repeat. All my workouts are about an hour but I feel as though I'm overtraining. I'm about to be on test / deca / d-bol and would like to start a new split when I get all my gear together. Anyone have some ideas of what I can do. I've never tried anything like 5x5 but I'm looking for strength gains more so than mass.

I'm just getting tired of all the splits and different things I have tried and looking for some fresh ideas. Didn't post on the weight lifting forum because I'm on cycle.
 
For strength 5x5 is definetly the way to go imo, you have no choice but to get stronger. Planning your weights might be tricky just because of the increase in strength from the AS, but you will get a ton stronger. I too trained like you do now until I researched a ton and realized that it just dont make sense, thats not how the human body works, and its inefficient. I now use the 5x5 and am gonig to experiment with a few other programs like Korte's 3x3 (i will never go back to the classic bb split). Definetly look into it, theres a wealth of info on the training forum about 5x5 (check out madcows long ass thread- it will tell you everything you need to know to get started). good luck.....
