Thing to do while you're in prison.

Just thinking while criminals are in prison for years on end what the hell do they do with all that spare time?
1.Lift weights
2.Sleep
3.Eat
4.Screw inmates and beome gay
5.Lift weights all over again.
Must be heaven to them. No wonder when their sentence is up they commit another crime just to return behind bars!

yeah bro the conditions in jail should be worst. That way they will do anything to not go back there. And doing anything to not go back there start with nt commiting crime and looking for a job instead of living from my fucking taxes.

dunno about all that. In New Orleans the jail is called Orleans Parish Prison or OPP for short. People being raped and becoming "Other Peoples Property" or OPP is an everyday occurance. This might as well the pen. Many jails are hotels, but if you go to New Orleans do your best no to be arrested...

If that's the case, anyone who commit any crime knowing that he is going back to hell, is a BIGTIME ASSWIPE. Seriously, if there's nothing worst than jail, somebody has to be really retard to go back again. Usually a "normal" citizen don't go to jail. If you go is for something, and you deserve it.

Hmmm..if the glove doesn't fit you must equit! We all know our legal system is 100% fair to rich and poor as well as guilty and not guilty. They don't call it the "justice" system for nothing...right??? To anyone familiar with the system it's pretty obvious it's about the law and not "justice."

Usually a criminal has a lower IQ. That means, under his logic and common sense, his concept of "justice" will be very different from the rest; therefore, any conviction against him, will be "unjustice" under his eyes. The best we can do is create laws equal for everyone and go by the book. That's how the system supposedly works. Unfortunatelly sometimes money corrupt everything.
 
The main thing people should do when they get to prison is figure out the way their going to keep that asshole a virgin for the next ten years. Soap on I rope I would hope

Well, money can purchase reasonable doubt. There was a case before the supreme court where the public defender has fallen asleep during the trial of a capitol case and the Supreme Court upheld the conviction...so much for their premise everyone is entitled to an "adequate defence." Likewise, the average jury consists of people too stupid to avoid jury duty and it only makes it worse. Also consider, our justice system is made up of fallible people who also may have agendas. My ex wife's family has a friend who was tried for the murder of her husband..he was a well known college professor in the community. His death was very high profile and it was an election year. The coroner's report said his death was inconclusive and friends of the family reported they had a very "loving" relatiosnhip. The prosecutor chose to charge her with murder based on the size of his life insurance policy(which he took out not her); It was also an election year and the chief prosecutor took over the case. She ended up being acquitted after being dragged through the mud for almost a year. She had to mortgage the house for her defence but luckily her ex loved her enough to have taken out a large insurance policy on himself. The chief prosecutor was re-elected...her name was in the media everyday for almost a year... My two points, she was a political tool and had she been "poor" she would probably be serving a life sentence right now(women usually don't get death sentences).

I'm wondering about the IQ of the person who wrote this...

More often then not the person who is committing the crime is full aware of what they are doing and know damn well it's wrong. It's not because they are stupid or have some altered sense of reality. That's why we have a term called premeditated. I would say most crimes are premeditated and not random or due to the criminal being in some "abnormal" state of reality
 
Just like people supposedly "get off" on insanity defences. For insanity to be a defence you have to "not realize" what you are doing is wrong. First, that a VERY difficult standard to meet. Secondly, most jury's are "suspect" of any insanity plea because of all the press.

Well, the way a Tiger hunts his food is also premeditated. However, under psychological terms, his brain is absolutely inferior compared to a human. Even an innocent and dumb dolphin is more intelligent than a Tiger. The way the people create gangs in jail and how they fight for drugs and food, is proof enough for me that those brains are closer to the Tiger than civilized citizens. And I said "Usually". From 100% of them, of course could be a 0.005% with a normal IQ.

80%-90% of people in prison have a "substance abuse problem" as diagnosed by the system. You may want to make that a variable in your equation. People afflicted with an addiction will not exhibit "normal" brain function...so it can't be attributed to IQ exclusively.

This is a very close minded statement. There are a lot of good people in prison who just made a mistake. Why would you generalize and judge everybody who's been to prison? I agree that it does hold a large portion of society's outcasts, and most people who are there deserve to be there, but people do make mistakes, and depending on the crime, people deserve a second chance. Let me guess......you're perfect right?

And for the record, I never went back after I was released.

You're right. But you're talkin about a minority. You can't get out of track just to please a minority. Unfortunatelly that time in hell will hurt good people but what can you do. Is like having 2 Presidents of The United States just to have both parties satisfied.
 
The US has the highest prison population in the developed world.

Making conditions harsher will not sway this, law makers tend to think this but it doesnt work that way.

Drug penalties are really outrageous, lock someone up who does drugs cause they might hurt themselves but you still have not done anything to correct the problem...

Anyone who's been to jail or prison knows, its a bunch of bullshit.
