The Ten Biggest Frauds In Bodybuilding

who is rick valinino? are you guys talking about Greg Valentino, the synthol king? if so i'm pretty sure nobody takes him seriously.
and as far as big kat, their are a ton of guys just like him, guys that never have used aas, but have read enough to sound knowledgable.
of course that goes back to the old debate about knowledge vs. experience.

Derek will put just about anything in a bottle and sell it to you. And he does. Just ask the 12 people who sued him for selling them a product that hospitalized them and shut down their livers. He's had more products pulled by the FDA than anyone I know.

See what you did. Now he'll file a law suit, one of my brothers will have to answer it and get it thrown out, and I'll owe them a lunch.

Oh yeah, that little issue.

Aren't people still using Usnic Acid?

I used his AdipoK and loved it. Actually could handle more than 4pills a day or I would get severe heart pains.

Scott Chinery was behind Cybergenics. That was the rage when I was in college. I think my training partner even tried it. We were convinced it had to work due to the cost.

From t-mag:

It's sometimes difficult to determine the quality of a supplement. Price isn't always a factor. Bruce Kneller believes that some companies "overcharge" to give their product line prestige. L. Scott Chinery, the mastermind behind the Cybergenics line, knew all too well how effective that tactic could be. Cybergenics products costing up to $200 for what was little more than an inconsequential dosage of vitamins and minerals—with a few herbs thrown in as "window dressing"—sold in the thousands:

I disagree about 1fast400. What has he done? He didn't claim to know a ton about products from what I've seen, he just sells them right, I buy from him and like his stuff. Where's VPX for Christs sake? Dianabole? Winstrawl?ClenbuterXXX! Lol:D

Who the hell is Big Cat? I have never encountered this one.

And I wonder just how many gallons of synthol that Rick Valantino shot into his arms anyway to get them that mishapen...anyone ever buy his video to find out his "secret" to the biggest arms in the biz? That should be entertaining!

Big Cat is body builing.com's answer for all bb questions. He has a lot of text book info but no practical experience. His article on clomid and nolva seem to be a little off, although I am no expert.

Well if you were putting this in order, I would think Bill Phillips would be #1. Who can ever forget his statement that HMB "feels like deca"?

TC is definately #2.

Cybergenics is #3. Remember those old photos where they used to cut off the head and put it on a different body?

Victor Conte and his ZMA scam tie him for #4 with Bill Roberts.

Hey Dial Tone. That quote from T-mag was written by me! (Under the pen name Garrison Kane).

Ulter: Derek. Good call.

Yes, Greg Valantino.

And whoever sells that shit with names like "Dianobol" and "Anodrol."

I spoke biefly with Larry and I know some people who know him. He's like the most meek guy in the world. (I think he's a Morman). Anyway, I can't say for sure. But from what I undrestand, he's a good guy.

Good people in the business? That's a good one. There are lots of them. Dave Draper and his wife are two of the most genuine people you'll ever meet.

Rick Collins is a good bro.

Mauro DiPasquale is one of the smartest people in the biz (but his new supplement line disappointed me).

Jerry Brainum. Smart guy.

Will Brink rubs me the wrong way sometimes but he knows his shit. (Not quite as smart as he thinks he is, but smart).

Bob Kennedy. Say what you want about MuscleMag, he's a straight up guy from my experience.

I don't know him real well but I got along great with Aaron Madron.

I thought Craig Titus was kind of a dick but when I spoke to him, he seemed like an alright guy.

Dr. Eric Serrano is someone who I can have major disagreements with and still love him. Very sincere and helpful to people.

Dan Duchaine was a nice guy. A ball buster but so fucking smart is was scary.

In spite of some of te stuff he writes, I got along with Greg Zulak.

Jack LaLanne is great. A total nut job.

Joe Roark. Great guy.

Believe it or not, I really got along with Paul Borreson, he was just out of his mind.

Louie Simmons seemed cool but I wouldnt want to piss him off.

God, there's too many!!! Some of the mods on this board are some of the smartest bros you'll meet. And a couple could fit into the first catagory.

:)

I forgot all about that Aetletika Labs or whatever in Missoula Montana. Their stuff had Russian deer hooves or something in it. That was expensive sh*t too.

I agree. I have purchased products from 1fast400 and they were as advertised. Very happy with my purchase.

These were 1fast400 brand products too, or I guess I should say AvantLabs products doctored by 1fast400.

Great stuff.

Granted that was one order, several months ago. Things could have changed.
