If anyone thinks our support of Israel has nothing to do with this, you're fooling yourself. Simple math here.....the muslim world hates Israel because the world swept in one day and gave the jews their own country on earth that "used" to belong to muslims, we support and back Israel with weapons, hence they hate us as well. Not saying that's the only reason they don't like us, but it's the root of all problems between us and the middle east. I don't think the muslims hate us because of our culture, sure they'd probably still dislike us and think we are not living the way of allah, but they wouldn't recruit folks to fly planes into the sides of our buildings.

I agree with X this time. Isreal is there, and we sure as hell can't make them pick up and leave. Isreal is not the cause of WTC and the pentagon (eveyone seems to forget about the pentagon), bin ladden is a mad man.

That's simply not true. There's been continuous Jewish presence in Palestine for millenia, even since the great dispersal of the Jewish nation that followed the Bar-Kohba rebellion against the Roman Empire in 135 CE. The Jews have been continuously living there since 1200 BCE - go check any objective archeology survey book. This info is out there.
