I went yesterday to the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte. It was one of the best experience ever!! First, I was passenger w/ a pro driver.. He rocked the car around the track 3 laps at average lap speeds of about 180mph w/ two other drivers right behind us. Holy shit is was such a rush. Then we wenT to "class" for a few minutes then they send you out to drive by yourself. You have to follow the instructor... They let you get up average lap speeds of approx 145mph... but you really haul ass on the back stretch..

It was such a great time... If there are any motorheads or speed freaks out there I highly recommend doing this...

those damn cars move.... you are probably doing 160mph plus on the back stretch at about 1/3 throttle.. there was more power to be unleashed but the instructor is on front of you and will not allow you to go but so fast... if they do.. it's their ass.
 
they do this at diferent tracks.. so see if the track near you has the program available..

damn I just can't explain how much fun this was

I drove the monster mile last year. It's well worth the money. I could give a shit about Nascar and probably never watched a full race but I like to drive fast.
That car stuck like glue to the road. Our average speed was 140, there are no speedometers in the car, we had our friends time the laps. It would suck if you had a pussy in front of you who was scared to drive but they will pull over and let you pass. I'll be piloting a dragster this summer.

Mine was free!!:D IMO it is worth every penny... I plan on going back. The $350 is nothing in comparison to the experience
 
I've thought about doing this for my hubby for a gift sometime.

They have these for drag racers as well? I think he'd enjoy , if say, John Force had a racing school.

Pretty pricey, but it may be somehing I could save for in the future...HE'D LOVE IT THOUGH!

I have always been into drag racing and go racing every chance I get.. Racing the Nascars is really different. I loved it... I'm sure your hubby would too...
 
Last year the company my husband is with flew us to Vegas to do this - I'm not that into racing and I would pay to do it again. I just got the ride along but the hubby got the full deal.

Gals if you need a great gift idea for a guy- this is it!!!!!

My GF was a little nervous.. but after seeing how everything works and seeing other females do it.. she is going to do the ride along program next time... she really enjoyed being there. I think she is now going to become a die hard race fan.

and I agree.. This would be a great gift idea!!

FAST CARS AND FAST WOMEN...PREFERRABLY THE FAST WOMEN,,DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN DRIVE ONE OF THEM FOR CHEAP...HEH HEH HEH :licker: :licker: :shocked:
 
Hey Vixenbabe, look up Frank Hawley drag racing school on the net, he has everything to race, next year I will be going there to race pro stock bikes.
 
Nascar has extreme ho's....
Jeff Gordon's wife will be back on the ho's list....She is a free agent.. She took all his shit... Oh well.... Love em and leave em is what I always say....

I wish I had ho's in differ area codes.. for me it's more like... I have 1 ho in 1 area code.. (unless I take her on vacation w/ me)
