The race to 500... deadlift version

You guys are motivating me with these threads. I need to set a PR soon...no matter if my numbers were 225 or 725. A PR is a PR.

I hope that everyone posts up how their workouts went.

On a side note...as I am getting ready for a PR pull...or PR anything...I'll start taking a few heavier singles at sub maximum weights for the 2-3 weeks prior.

ET 3-7 weeks.. depending on how my back feels.
 
If i normally do my work set at 5 reps. When can i attempt to go for 500?

For example if i can do 465 x 5 this week, should i try to go for a PR of 500 the next week? (not that im there yet)
 
I attempted a PR on Saturday...didn't go real well. It was only about a 10lb PR, and I couldn't get it to budge.

Of course, I still had my briefs on from squatting, and threw my suit on over it, and couldn't get down to the bar the first time. Next attempt, I'll just use the suit.
