what's the deal with this other board i've been hearing so much about?
seems like it has drained a few good bors from this site, which makes me sad.
i'd imagine that's where jack, hammy, bb, sponge and others chill
how many of you visit there and post regularly??
 
i went there and said i looked forward to hanging with some good bros there and people got all pissy like saying "good bro" was the equivalent of calling someone's mother a cunt.

sure a few people left there, but remember, there would be no "other" board if it was not for this place first. I have a great deal of respect for this place and will always call it "home."

but it would be nice to visit a chat board under my original handle "Gambino"
fuggin is so gaye that i can't switch it back @ EF.
that reason alone makes me want to check the water elsewhere

sometimes the grass isn't always greener, and if you can work both ends, then you maybe better off. If you leave this place you will be missed.

When I was in college we used to always try and find a better bar and a better mexican place after two years of searching we realized that we just wasted a lot of time looking for "better" when we already had it right under our thumbs.

i don't think EF operates on a typical business model
quite a few peeps as of late have quit coming here and it seems
that the EF brass takes a "fuck you" attitude towards disgruntled customers.
i'm sure the financial numbers will eventually prove this with less peeps coming by.
truely sad because this is a great site
but in honesty though the brass needs to swallow their ego's a bit or else face the possibillity of fizzling out

I just re-upped my 9 month subscription here, but I peek over there occasionaly. Just dont' have much time right now to post. Never understood why people think you have to pick one or the other message boards.

The Legend of the "Other board"

First came Triedia from the unfamous amaf

then steroid*logy

then Iron trybe (they had another fag name at first)

and now this "other board".... they're funny because they always offer some "oh so cool and so lame" features like an "open source" forum, uncensored C&C, busted sources (even tried in court) acting as mod, murderer and pedohpile (that guy from Triedia who was also sourcing and got sentenced in Hawai).....
 
When I don't remember something, someone or an event or situation I attended with my better half I usually just say, "hmm, must have been you're other girlfriend"

We usually get a chuckle out of it.

And then we hump like jack rabbits.

You havent gathered Iron Trybe much then. There've been many times over the last several months when their chat forum has had more people in it than EF C&C.
 
i have been a member of this site for 6 years now. yes recently i have had my differences with this site but thats because i hate change. ive been to the other site and truthfully the conversations are the same there as they are here. im not knocking either site i enjoy both. i just cant see why someone would just up and leave here for good just to go there when its kinda the same.

The first one I have no f'n clue about never heard of it in my life.

I do however go over to ology every now and then and I frequent IT a lot. I like that ladies board here don't get me wrong but IT actually has a ladies board where the ladies talk about taking steriods our womans forum steriod is almost tabo subject.

Triedia = around 2001-2002 started by amaf as a joke at first but then overtaken by a bunch of known sources and scammers including Roiddoc (the murderer i was talking about). IT might be good, no idea, havent been there in years just know that some people there in the management/mod are/were involved in some suspicious activities. Maybe they're no longer there..... dunno....

Eh there is politics everywhere I could care less about that crap. I go to fitness board for information and knowledge. I like elite as it broke my cherry so to speak on fitness message boards but there are some other decent ones out there is all I am saying. It is hard to say if that other board will be around long or if it will just fizzle out the a lot of spin offs do.

EF's Women's Forum is really a general fitness forum now rather than a BB'er's forum. There used to be a lot of discussion about AAS, but the ladies who raised and supported those topics are long gone. I used to bump some of those old threads, but got absolutely ZERO responses from the current crop of members, so I gave up on that. The IT women's forums are far superior to what EF offers. Here we've got a fitness journal forum and nothing else.

That's true. I remember how things were before. But it's also a reflection of real life. For every girl doing aas, there're probably 10-11 guys at least. Also, some of the "vets" posting in the Women's forum were busted. Maybe IT found its "niche" but for some very good reasons, EF couldnt tolerate some of these "vets" anymore. :)

I like IT

It's not EF and EF is not IT - they are totally different and they offer different things which doesn't to me make one better than the other they both serve a purpose. To use them both together is really a great way to go.

You should know from reading the EF women's board who to direct AS related questions to get a reply and you don't necessarily have to bump a post to get an answer - you'd probably be better off asking with a new thread.

It's a whole new group of women on the women's board and it's a great lot of women that support each other. Actually both boards have that - IT just has women with different goals and because those goals differ the path there does too. It's not the fault of either board for what the main source of member provided info and experiences that comes to be most prevalent.

If we only had one book, one TV/Cable station and one newspaper to get our info from everyday we'd all be a poor state of living.

Good analogy. The problem here though is EF women's has only one channel, whereas IT has five. There's absolutely no reason why EF cant expand it's programming as well. I see that online training journals are a new trend which are very popular, but the old interests didnt vanish. There's a reason why there's usually 2x as many people reading the IT Women's area as the EF Women's area. They recognize all the interests.

Well, by channel I actually meant different boards entirely - not just sections of any one board. I like the way IT is set up and it works for IT - I can't say for sure it would work here - but at the same time you never know until you try.

The women member are not the same on IT as they are on EF - but at the same time it goes back to the saying "build it and they will come".

So while I agree with you I just don't know if that will happen here but I do think it's good idea and I get what your are saying.

That's just what they did over there. They supplied all those different women's areas and after a few years they build up a pretty good following in all of them.

I did understand how you used your analogy, but I kinda misappropriated it for my own purposes. :)
