The moralities of ass and bodybuilding

as long as you are doing what makes you happy. no one can (or should) tell you what will make you happy. you have to discover that for yourself and strive to attain that bliss. this could be anything. if for some making a lot of money gives them great satisfaction, then by all means pursue that vigorously. others could be family, hobby, etc. for most here, it is BB. and that is perfectly ok. when you have a wife though, things tend to get a little foggy. you can't be selfish.

I get more ASS becuase I'm into bodybuilding! There's nothing immoral about that! :Chef: :tuc:

15 years ago, I had a horrible accident that caused fracture of my left leg and fractures of both clavicles. I was in therapy for 8 months and barely could use my arms.

My upper body muscles atrophied. And I was an ectomprph to start with (and my forearms were so small that I never wore short sleeves). I was too busy to do anything about it. Finally, one day I decided to work on it. Too late. At my age, my gains were puny. I realised that I would not go back to my normal strength.

Then I stumbled on AAS. I was so ignorant that I brought AAS in without a worry in the world. I also found this Board.

Do I feel guilty? No. I do feel that I am cheating. But it is nothing more than when you buy something dirt cheap on sale and you laugh at all those idiots who paid full price.

I don't want to look huge. It is a good feeling that I can lift heavy stuff without much effort. I only want to reach my natural peak potential, only faster. Then I intend to maintain it naturally. At least that is my intention right now.

well my answer is pretty simple. going to the gym takes maybe 7,8 hours out of your week. i know that outside of the gym, the eating and all that is important as well of course, but 8hours out of your week isn't selfish at all. thats like 4% of your week. heh.

Everything in moderation, but remember you have a responsibility to a child that you brought into this world.

Don't feel bad about BB. It's what makes you happy, and you have the guts to do what the majority of people won't do. Gear is part of BB (at the most), even if you compete, you should feel no shame about it because it's part of the sport. Remember, you only live once, so do what you enjoy!!! :chomp:

Bro that bullcrap about "is the inside that defines a person, not the outside" is for insecure people who wants a mental relief of their incapacity for they to do something in their lives, bodybuilding is an aproach, both mental and physical, to be better inside and outside, it requires power of will and physical energy. This like any other human activity involves being a better person to develope a sense of DETERMINATION to fullfill a goal (which is the main problem with people in today's society) People tend to believe that because you use AAS is a "short way" to getting a better body, but if you look and research about the lives that use the gear and train BB you will notice that person change of life, you have to study in order to inform yourself on How To Do It right (research, read, ask etc), you have to eat at certain hours, with certain amout of calories etc. You have to train hard adn know how to train.

All that is what makes a person better. And by the way that saying "is the inside not the outside" is for the uggly people, that gives them relief of the REALITY of life.

We want to change ourselfs and yes, that is selfish because in order to give we must have, like a child. Buy a child a toy and in order for him to share, he must feel the sense of ownership; it was mine, now i am bored, i can share it with other people.

You see once we change ouselfs we have the power, mental and physical to help other people, by experience to change themselfs because we have the metal knowledge and the physical experience on how things should be done.

So enjoy the ride man, and do what is right for you and your loves ones.

it would be an ethical, not a morality topic. anyway, we do things that make us feel good, if we don't make ourselves happy, how can we make anyone else happy? then there is abuse and moderation. I am not here to be a bb'r, I am not here just to 'look good naked' I am here to add strength, fill out my frame, and be able to play sports or do athletic activities I enjoy and be able to perform at a level that I want to be at. AAS is a supplement to my training, and not the key factor in my results. I don't plan on going to the chargers training camp, but I like playing in a pick up game at the park, go rowing, lift my girlfriend over my head and deck a smart ass from time to time. i look good, i feel good, i am happy.
