the late night fix

Critical,hell no.I don't eat it at all,'cos I can't stomach it,and I am doing just fine without it.So is it critical??Of course not.Now I'm not saying it's not a good source of protein,'cos I know that it is,just that it's not critical.
 
cottage cheese is a good late nite source because it has protein in it, so it prevents muscle atrophy while you sleep. cottage cheese, being a dairy product, also takes a longer time than any other source of protein to break down in your body. while it may not be "critical" to most bodybuilders, my question dealt with whether or not someone who thinks it's important to eat needs to eat it every nite or just the 5 or 6 days that they're lifting?
