Michael Clarke Duncan, he certainly is a big boy. You can see him in Armageddon, The Whole Nine Yards, and so on.

I remember going to the bathroom after walking out of that movie and urinating next to this 6'7 tattooed biker crying his eyes out.

Finally seen this classic movie. What an interesting story. I'm intrigued at how the story developed in the mind of the writer. Makes me realize how much more emotional depth some folks have than I do.

I kept expecting the giant hero to rip someones head off in a display of schizophrenia or something. Who is that guy? Biggest display of pure muscles I've ever seen since the dude was like 6'10" and as broad as a door. Didn't he actually turn sideways to get through doors?

Some great acting which you always seem to find a Tom Hanks movie, how does the guy always seem to pick winners? Honestly, I have never seen a Hanks movie that let me down.

I was impressed, they took a simple story with simple people and made a splell binding movie. Even the little mouse sub plot was intriguing. The antagonists were two of the most disgustingly vile guys I have ever seen. I wanted to grab the TV screen and wail on them both.

Somehow what should have been a very sad ending was not so since the giant seemed so ready to leave this world.

I was glad to see the mean prison guard wind up in the mental institution, I've known a few guys like that. I suppose we all have. Left me wondering if his uncle.....the governor.....could have been related to p0ink? Probably not, it is just a movie. Right?

Stephen King wrote it 'nuff said. I remember when the books first came out as novellas (small 100pg or so novels) He put one out every month for 6 months for a total of 6 books. I would finish the book in about an hour or so and then get pissed off that I had to wait 30 days for the next one to come out! It was worth it though. He said he did this for that very reason. When he was a kid some science fiction magazine he read, would put out a short clip of an ongoing story every week, and it drove him crazy having to wait for the next one.

Green Mile was one of my favorite, youwould be amazed at all the movies they have made from his short stories, if you didn't know he also wrote The Shawshank Redemption.

Giant people and giant accomplishments come in many sizes.....one of the best movies ever made.....

Almost sounds like you decided to piss next to the guy because he was crying. You conservatives really lack empathy. :D

The Green Mile is an awesome movie. I read the novel before it came out and the movie was exactly, and I mean exactly the same as I had pictured it in my head when I was reading it. No movie has ever done this, although jurassic park was pretty close to the novel.lol

I felt Tom's pain when he pissed.. Great job as usual for Mr Hanks.

Watched "Pay it forward" last night and that's another "Should be Sad", Sad ending, that was not...

I enjoy movies that aren't sappy but still emotional and make you think about the nature of humans. both good and bad
