I have no problem with marriage, or the divorce rate.. what is irrational about it? There have been marriages that have lasted lifetimes, its proven, I wouldn't say DON'T get married because there is a chance you get divorce.. i'd say get married because there is a chance you could end up happy!

"To believe without proof" you said it all right there.. why is this acceptable in today's society??????? Are we still fucking cavemen and have to guess about everything? If someone believed that Posiedon ruled the sea, would you respect that person?

unless he started performing miracles, and we finally had the PROOF we needed... I can say that almost EVERYONE would be a Christian if we had a guy show up, claim to be jesus, and start commanding full control of the elements, working miracles as described in the bible (raising people from the dead, water into wine, healing blindness and leaprosy, etc).

All we have now are the stories.. the writing of other MEN... no real proof...

also, we are pretty ignorant here in the US as to christianity and the bible... the translations are hardly accurate.. original texts are not available... and they were in hebrew with no vowels.. and keep in mind when these scrolls were transcribed from place to place it was by hand.. think of all the typos you make typing.. now thing of how many times these things were copies by hand... they are riddled with significant errors.

and let me tell you another thing.god was talking to the isralits as a nation.a new nation.in those times it was nessasery to be this way.it was alote more ruthless day in age.if the isralits did not live like this and the hole natoin dident live for god they would br crushed by others with othere faths and othere typs of religoins ether by the sword or by just fading out by the constant migling with other natoins and other religoins.this camand was not for cristains as a hole and espataly not for anny one now.
