The Chronicles of Lestat

just for the sake of arugement, do you agree with my ramblings about the top spot never being permanetly secured?

Nothing is permanent or guaranteed. You are only as good as your last post. You are only as safe as your last move. Everybody and anybody can be asked to leave. The only person with a guaranteed spot here is George Spellwin.

Thats not to say your future on EF is out of your hands... We are very lenient and try to work with everybody... As long as you are cool with us, we'll be cool with you... We don't mind when people voice their opinions as long it is its done properly... We are one of the more lenient and tolerant forums on the Net...

The higher "up" you are, the more careful you should be. Members get away with a lot. Mods and Sponsors are held to a higher standard. A Mod or Sponsor can be asked to leave, over an issue that would earn a Plat member a short timeout.

Whats the sponsor gig all about? Is there any money in it?

that is all true, except sometimes keeping the customers happy is not cost effective.

A good example is the karma system. It was a lot of fun, and karma inflation was out of control.

once they started "selling" karma, they changed the system which made it less "fun" for some (hamstershaver) and we lost members, or, unhappy customers.

The Old Karma system favored the members who had been here long enough to work the pyramid schemes and build up their K. It was impossible for new members to reach those heights. It was only fun for the Karmillionares, Fucking monopoly we had!... All of the great K fortunes in this forum where won thru influence and playing the system... We wanted to make a system that could not be played but rather worked... Now you have to work the system, you can't play it.

Thats why I'm broke dude. Working is no fun.

Wow. It's like someone assigned you an essay in "train of thought" style, and your train derailed and never arrived at the station.

:lmao:
