Getting water back in your body isn't the same as all the tissues of your body being rehydrated. I agree, you lost a lot FAST. I hope you are feeling better.

I have used dandelion before track meets before (national sprint team) and never felt bad, nor did any of my team mates. Diuretics were not in the rules, so herbal diuretics were all we could use. Generally, if we felt like crap, it was because we lost too much too fast and couldn't recover....and he did lose hella fast.

This would be kind of like saying it's not a good idea to eat pizza because it made you nauseated and too full, when in reality, any food eaten in a high quantity would've made you feel full and nauseated, pizza or not...you just happened to eat pizza when it happened.

Am I making sense? :nerd:

why was he using diuretics? to make weight?

i drank the dandelion tea so i could shed a few lbs to make the 175lb class,,,,just shed a few more than i expected in such a short period of time.
 
I think that the medley was just THAT HARD!!!! Especially for a 173 pound guy. Try doing ANYTHING that intense for 1 minute and 14.35 seconds and see if you don't feel like 100 yards of chewed up bubble gum...

No need to set up the fund everyone...like I said before. If you take care of your competitors they will take care of you next time.
