I started sayin that's not even gay, that's so geigh - in public and people hearing over are thinkin I'm homophoebic - a friend or two have even asked that twice.... Gotta stop that shit
Oh, and there is a similar commercial for the same campaign where Wanda Sykes is the voice of reason.
She uses the term "Nigger", yet is offended (as a straight woman) by the term "That's so gay".

"Nigger" is extremely offensive. Yet, "That's so gay" is very loosley used by everyone all around the US and is not intended to be offensive or degrading at all.
"Gay" doesn't even mean "homosexual" by defnition. Gay itself is a slang term they use for themselves.
They see it as meaning gays = stupid.
That is not what is meant to be said.
