Tested my squat last night...a humbling experience

I had a rough squat workout a couple of sessions ago, but last night I came back determined.

Hang in there and never give up. . tell yourself you never want to fail again and train hard to surpass your current situation.

The football team was doing chain suspended GM's from 44" with the safety squat bar, so instead of getting pissed and going to eat, I got pissed and did some GM's. Not the most productive exercise for me, but at least I felt better afterwards.

I can count on one hand the number of workouts I missed prior to my new job...ordinarily it's not a big deal.

With my new job, I have to travel, and the two trips I've been on involved me working very long hours, so the option became either (A) sleep for work tomorrow or (B) work out.

That said, b fold gave me a great idea...taking bands with me on my trips, and I intend to do that.

And no offense taken.
 
I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Whenever things with work, sleep, or just something new in my schedule impact my training in a negative way, I find it easy to beat myself up and start questioning everything I do. But then I adjust, my body adjusts, and I get things moving in the right direction again. It ends up being a waste of time for me to have even worried about having a shitty workout. If I were you I would forget it even happened, and keep doing what you've been doing to come as far as you have.
 
i know its' different but it happend to me the other day w/stones. ive gotten the 265 loaded b4 but sun i couldnt even load the 245. had to be happy w/230. then do sets w/185 stone. i was real frustrated but i guess we have our bad days and we have good days.
