tendonitis advice

I've had trouble with tendonitis in my wrist/forearm from the ez curl bar in the past. the first time was 10 or so years ago when i was young and stupid and dreamed of huge arms. then everything was ok until about a year ago when i was on some gear and working biceps twice a week. i really like the ez curl, but i could tell it was giving the trouble, so i dropped weight and went high reps, but the pain persisted. Then I just did nothing but hammer curls to let the tendons rest. I'm about to be back on and want to work the arms twice a week again. The tendons are fine right now, but I'm hopin gfor some preventative advice.

I just wrote about this. I got tendonitis from the straight bar , not the preacher bar. But once you get tendonitis , it will hurt in both spots...

Try cable preachers. I could lift 200lb on a cable machine and then place another 45lb plate on the stack for added weight while having tendonitis

I'm recovering from bicep tendonities right now. I'm avoiding working the bicep in any way for another 1 1/2 weeks or so and am taking 2400 mg of Ibuprofen per day. My doc recommended at least two sets of light warm-ups to prevent tendonitis and he also mentioned that high weigh with very low reps (under 4) can injury to the tendon for those who are prone.
