Tell me what supplements I need, or should use. Lets try and keep it natural. :)

Well I am not new to this board or to weight lifting. For starters, I will list some of my stats.
18 years old
5'11"
164ish lbs
I weight training least 3 days a week.
I am in AFROTC so i PT 3 days a week in the morning too.
I usually run 2-3 times more at night after i weight train.
I eat pretty well too.

My goals: I want to keep weight on and get up to about 170lbs. I dont want to weigh too much more than that, because it would hender my running. I want my running not to be diminished, because it is a key factor to my PFT(Physical Fitness Test). I also want my strength to be as strong as possible.

I am thinking the usual protien, creatine glutamine, multi vitamins. Can you give me specific brands and products. (By the way, what is this metabolic whey protien.) All opinions are appreciated.

FUCK! I just bought a huge tub of G-Plenish. That's not the same as Ener-G???

Dude, there are about a million things people can recommend, nearly all will have marginal difference.

But you sounds like you have what you need right there.

No need to get crazy - at least for someone starting out. As you develop, do your own homework and figure stuff out you want to add gradually.

Three recommendations:
1) Add some motrin/Ibprofin to your daily vitamins. I'd say 400mg at wake and 400mg before bed. You may add 400mg to mid-day if that suits your scheduele.
2) Cycle your creatine. 1 month on, 2 weeks off.
3) Hydrate (you should know this already, and it will be stressed at OCS.)

Now I am going to do something rare on EF and tell you WHY for each.

1) Motrin isn't just good for dealing with pain, it works well as a preventative measure and reduces inflamation that occurs from exercising. You can ramp this up as you'd like though the medical limit is 2400 mg a day (I use to do 800mg every 8 hours - now just 400 every eight hours).
2) Like most things, your body adjusts to the substance and you don't get as much bang for the buck. See this page: http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/creatine/loading-creatine-use.htm
3) Creatine uses a lot of water, and staying hydrated is critical to maintaining your health. Hydration affects everything - even your joints as it's the principal lubricant between your cartlidge. At least a gallon a day.

PS - see the sports drink in my sig. Recommend it for pre and during run, mix with dextrose after run (or put in PWO shake).

Great, because the original formula tastes like rancid peanut butter concentrate. Are any of the ingrediants in the two new formulas illegal in Canada? This is going through the AF store, right? I want to order direct from them because Yo-Organic (Canada) overprices on everything.
