So I am kickin it on EF. Home alone (finally) and there is a knock at my door. My neighborhood sucks so I don't usually answer it after dark, but when I look out the window it looks like a 16-17 year old girl. She asked me if Joe lives here. I'm like no, no Joe. She gets all insistant that he told her this was his address. I'm like sorry, no Joe. She left, but she was all looking over her shoulder as she was talking to me and kinda peeking into my house. WTF?

1 of 2 things: You are being cased. -or- Someone a lot scarier and hiding out of sight is waiting for you to open the door for her and barge in behind her. The second one happened to me in KC, but I just happened to have my friend Mr. Ruger in my hand behind the door with the finger on the slide release. Stupid as hell (should have just had one in the chamber and ready to go, but I was young and stupid) but the sound made the two guys turn very quickly and pretty much jump 3 floors to get away. I was living in a bad area (Troost'ish if you know Kansas City). I was fairly certain it was a set up when a) it was 2am b) when I looked out the peep, she kept looking to her side.

I didn't call the cops. I called a neighbor that was about 5 min away. Cope around here could take a good 45 min if they don't see it as an emergency. I only opened the door cause I thought it was a girl down the street. I just don't have a good view from the window and the door does not have a peep hole. I have thought about a gun, but I have no idea how to use one and am afraid I would end up hurting myself or someone else because of my inexpierence.
