hey guys, havent been on in a while. just wanted to say thanks for your input about my cigarette smoking 2 months ago. yous told me basiclly, if your a bodybuilder, act like one. so i did, its been 45 days smoke free!most importantly, i would also like yous to know i was bitching i couldnt gain a lb. on the 5x5 after 7 weeks , well, since i stopped smoking i went from 200lbs to a excellent 217 lbs in that 45 days!!!no drugs, just me. just wanted to let everyone thanks for the constructive critisism. thanks again, keep pumping!
 
Well Congrats!!!! Not to sound like a dick but I have been hating smokers latley!! Have 3 that work for me and I have never seen a bigger buch of babbies wanting to go have a smoke 10 times a day!!!! I don't get it!! You don't see me going to the bathroom 10 times a day to take an oral or to stick a pin or leaving work to go get food all day long!!! Ok sorry just had to let that out.
Good for you and I hope you never go back!
 
That's awesome! I've got about 18 smoke-free months uner my belt and I can't imagine EVER smoking again - what a disgusting habit! Paying loads of money to kill yourself painfully and slowly is a pretty bad idea if I do say so myself.
 
That's quite inspirational to hear. I am in the process of trying to quit myself.
I hate doing it, but I enjoy it at the same time... one of those things I guess only a smoker could understand.
Fingers crossed this time it'll work...
 
Seems like there's alot of ex smokers on here, i used to smoke cannabis like people smoke cigarettes, about 15 cigs a day all in joints. I was smoking pot for about 9 years (something like that) i started at school. The last time i smoked anything was in october of last year. I also gained a big amount after i stopped, congrats on quiting ;)
 
its input like this that lends a hand in keeping me motivated not to smoke. i feel great, the guys at work are saying im on the roids(not at this time.shhhh!) no more tooth aches, things are getting better, im 38 so its never to late to give up the habbit, chickenlegs, if your screename inplies, my legs are filling out just fine now squatting, eating , no smoking, this is great!
 
Congrats on stopping the Cig Smoking!!!

I too am a chronic weed smoker. 1 bag a night, maybe 2. Really relaxes me and gets my ass hungry for my dinner when i get home (bulking now) i have tried to quit cannabis, but i have no apetite and i am quite irratable if i havnt smoked.

Cannabis is only for after the gym, not before, well if i do before i dont ever make it to the gym, so thats my personal rule of thumb lol
