T3 Nitro... how good is it really??

OFF2theGYM

New member
Ok I've been takeing T3 Nitro for about two months now, I just turned 18(Dec. 11) and I was wondering if there is something more powerful that I can buy? I dont really know alot about these substances, haha, I really need someone here to help guide me! ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT!! Thanks....

By the way, a little about me: My name is Darin I'm 18 years old(still in high school) I want to get bigger and have a nice strong ripped body. Im not fat by anymeans an im pretty cut for only weighting 149lbs(its hard for me to put on weight!). I want some help on what i should buy/get to help me get bigger quicker, but legally! As of right now I'm taking T3 Nitro~6 pills everynight~, Whey protein~2-3 glasses of 8 oz. everyday~, Shapeworks~soy nuts 1 pack a day~, Creatine Plus:strength series~ i take four glasses of 7oz. servings a day~. If I'm doing it all wrong, PLEASE someone guide me in the right direction! I really need a better plan I think on how to big bigger, anyone who wants to give me advice would be great, thanks!!

What do you eat? Diet is the most important thing so how much are you eating as far as cals, pro, carbs, and fat. Also, how often do you lift and do cardio. If you can't gain weight it's probably diet. At your age diet is really all you need.

I eat pretty healthy Ive never had a problem with getting fat over what i eat, I try to avoid fast food but sometimes i give in. But i eat alot of meat, raw eggs, potatos, fish. And i go to the gym mostly everyday(sept sunday) for about 3-4 hours not includeing running at the track or the tredmill.

What specifically are you eating and when? Can you break it down like this ...
Example from my log ...

Eating every 3 hours...
Meal # 1 :Shake
· 3 scoops ISO AGB
· ~1/4 Cup Raspberries, ~6-7 small strawberries, small banana

Meal # 2 :
• Sweet Potato
• 6.0 oz Grilled Chicken Breast cooked in Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Also what are you working?
i.e.
Monday - Back & Bi's
Tuesday - Legs
Wed. - Chest & Tri's
Thurs. - OFF
Friday. - Shoulders calves, abs .... etc

something kinda like

More details better we can help

See thats really my problem, Im not sure what an how to eat. An if the stuff im takeing is just crap or not.

Monday-tri's,bi's,shoulders
Tuesday-legs,lower body
Wed.-back,neck,chest,abs
Thurs.-cardio,legs
Friday-tri's,bi's,shoulders
Saturday-chest,abs,back,neck
Sunday-run,cardio

Adding Muscle usually requires an increase in calories... the amounts of course are user dependant (stats, goals, etc)

You're in a unique situation b/c you're in school (high school I'm assuming). Can you eat in class? Can you bring shakes & bars to school if you can't in order to get in a meal every 3 hours or so?

As far as workouts go, I'm sure the guys can be a little more helpful on exercises to focus on for growth.

3-4 hours in the gym a day seems a bit excessive for the average person.

yea they'll let me eat in class(high school), even if they dont i still will, haha. Yea im at the gym awhile i hope it will pay off eventually(although i dont go on sunday an wed. is a light day).... so i need to try an get in something every 3 hours or so thats high on calories?

Hey, there. We still need a lot more info. :)

How tall are you? Also, please write down your workout (including cardio and running) in detail. I'm concerned about it, but I don't want to comment until I've seen more.

For now, I have to BEG you to trust me on something. You simply need to eat. You need to eat every 3 hours until you are almost full. IF that doesn't start putting muscle on you (give it 2 weeks), then you need to eat every 3 hours until you ARE full. After 2 weeks of that, if it still doesn't work, then you need to eat every 3 hours until you are freaking STUFFED.

Here's something else: bluntly, you're wasting your money. That may sound harsh, yet I don't mean for it to be. My point, though, is that you are 18. Your damn testosterone levels are the highest they are going to be for the next 4-5 years of your life. If you lift intelligently and EAT, you will have mind-numbing gains, compared to the rest of your life. You don't NEED T3 Nitro right now...you need food (and lots of it). :)

Hmmmm....let's leave it at that for now and check your response. :)

Ok, I'm 5'8-5'9, 150lbs. As far as my workouts go... I come in and stretch for about 45min. doing nothing but stretching an a few aerobic type stuff(real light just to get my heart going), then I'll get on a thing called an Arch Machine(kind of like a treadmill type thing made by Cybex) and do 5min of light jogging. I do that everyday before I do any type of working out. My workout schedule go as this(usally I do this same workout everyday cept sunday I dont work out & wed. is mostly a cardio day): ^ALL ARE IN ORDER^

*Chest/arm press machine(works chest & Bi's)- 1. 112lbsx12 ' 2. 125lbsx12 ' 3. 137lbsx10 ' 4. 150lbsx8 ' 5. 160lbsx6 <coming down behind my head then the same whole work out only I bring it down in front of my face>
*Shoulder press(using a 15lbs bar, works shoulders and Bi's)- 1. 75lbsx12 ' 2. 85lbsx10 ' 3. 95lbsx8 ' 4. 100lbsx8 ' 5. 110lbsx6
*Curls w/ dumbbells while sitting up straight w/ back support(tri's)- 25lbsx26 each arm<2 times> ' 30lbsx24 each arm<2 times> ' 35lbsx22 each arm<1 times>. Also in between each time I take 20lbs dumbbells and hold them at my sides an bring them straight up and down like how a bird flaps its wingsx6.
*Dumbbell bi's workout(Bi's, I sit on a flat bench w/ no back support)- 1. 50lbsx12 ' 2. 55lbsx10 ' 3. 60lbsx8<between each time i do dumbell presses with 60lbsx12 & then 65lbsx12>
*Shoulder machine- 1. 60lbsx8 ' 2. 65lbsx8 ' 3. 75lbsx8
*Back machine- 1. 85lbsx8 ' 2. 90lbsx8 ' 3. 95lbsx8 ' 4. 105lbsx8
*Chest butterfly machine(focuses on chest only)- 1. 70lbsx10 ' 2. 75lbsx10 ' 3. 80lbsx8
*Biceps macine(moderate lifting)-weight varies based on how tired I am.
*Tricep machine(moderate lifting)-weight varies based on how tired I am.
*Leg press machine(focuses on upper leg muscles and butt, position is sitting up)-weight varies; no higher than 285lbs & no lower than 260lbs<includes no more than 10 & no less than 8 reps w/ 3-4 times).
*Calves lift macine(standing up)-weight varies; no higher than 190lbs & no lower than 165lbs<includes no more than 8 & no less than 6 reps w/ 3-4 times.
~Stretch a little bit, sometimes I do a lite jog afterwards(depends) on a tredmill. DONE, go home eat, rest and take proteins.

Anything else??

The Arc Trainer ... OMG I LOVE this thing and it's AWESOME you're into stretching ... I should be more disciplined in that area ... often overlooked :)

Stop running... and eat.

You said that you are a hard gainer, so why are you running? You wont be able to gain weight if you're burning a ton of cals extra on top of your crazy metabolism.

Diet makes a huge difference. My friend takes similar supplements to me (XC4 CEE and ON Whey), but I eat a shitload more. Before I got slammed with school work and had to cut back my workouts, I was eating 4-5 chicken breasts, 4-5 eggs, a 8 oz steak, plenty of whole grain rice, a shitload of vegetables, and at least a half gallon of milk every day and I definitely looked in way better shape then him. I'm considering trying out No-xpolde nitric oxide booster, as I had a trial that I took for a week and seemed to make a difference in how I felt.

Yea, I guess I need to start eating more... alot more it seems like, haha. But yea bunny the Arc Trainer is the shizznit, haha! I like the strength workout it has, very good machine. ;)

I think its helping... so I dont need to be running as much? Yea im a hard gainer.

When you have a crazy metabolism like you said, since you are a hard gainer. Any extra cardio will just make it worse and you dont want that. You just have to find the right amount of cals for you to increase your weight. It will be a high amount too, so just keep eating clean, a lot of clean food.

No Explode is good shit, Ben taking it for bout month now and my workouts are intense, feel like working out for hours and you get nice pumps and vascular with it.

Bro... 3-4 hours in the gym is not helping one bit. get in there for an hour and a half tops... i like keeping mine 45 mins- 1 hour... and even shorter during my cutting.
what the heck takes u so long?
im not gonna critique the product becuase I have never used it.. is it like a trib supp?
just eat every 2-3 hours. and at your weight.. aim for 3000 cals ed. that should get ya growing.

yup, pretty much what others have said... increase your calorie intake... take a good meal replacement / protein bar with you for between your main meals...

also, 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week is OVERKILL.... overtraining is counterproductive...your body needs adequate rest to grow... try working out 3 days, take a day off, etc.... have 2 days off per week... trust me, your body will thank you! and as was said before, 1 - 1.5 hours tops! I didn't get a chance to look at your workout, but definitely decrease your cardio... do it 2-3 times a week at most... and try to get in as many weight exercises as possible as opposed to machines.... maybe 75% weights, 25% machines....

good luck!

I was at Vitamin World today and I saw some stuff called Weight Gainer... would that be something to consider getting? An yea me spending that long at the GYM is kinda outrageous here lately I've been starting to cut it back.

P.S. I just wanna say thanks to everyone who has helped me out so far, all the advice I'm getting is awesome! I've learned alot here lately. I'm glad I found this website! `cYa cYa`

I've never been a fan of the weight gainer stuff. Usually I'll throw three scoops of whey protein, a couple scoops of non-fat ice cream, a banana, some strawberries if I have any, a handful of peanuts, and a about a quart of milk in the blender after I work out and drink that. Its really like two milk shakes, but it comes out tasting pretty damn good and has a shitload of protein in it.

Other than that, just eat a ton man. Chicken, steak, whole grain stuff. A solid diet helps out way more than most people think.

If I were you, I'd pass on the weight gainer and try to gain the pounds naturally with whole foods like brown rice, whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes...and lots of milk and protein (chicken, fish, eggs)... weight gainers have too much sugar and you can quickly turn into a human marshmallow.... not the kind of weight you want

Sweet! Ok well, your gonna be upset with me... while useing the T3 I came across the Nxcare MASS cycle and started useing it... and doing what you told me NOT to do, which was tryin' out any form of supplements. BUT, Ive been on it 11 days now and Ive gained 5lbs or so, plus Im at 4.3% body fat and its a 21 day cycle! But, I have cut down on my workout times and given me more recovery time. The NXcare MASS cycle also came with this 73 page book which I've read, and it has some great stuff in it that I've been putting into practice. Im still a little unsure about how/what I should eat, and how many calories I should put on. Just any help would be great! GLAD your back man, heard you went on a vaction, how was it?!

Just like i posted on another THREAD... in which u disagreed with me buddy... i figured it would work good... but im not too much on the Creatine part, im still wandering about the MuscleTech products; GAKIC & LUEKIC & /CREAKIC when it comes out.... Glad it worked though, i still have decided

Yea, well I had reseached it alot! Before I just posted on her asking people if I should get it(because I had a bad run in with Creatine back in like 9th grade, and ended in the hospital). I wasnt disagreeing with, I was passin down the info I was given. I think you should try No-Xplod honestly, if your lookin for some kind of supplement...

Yeah...A freind gave me a bottle of T3 because he said it wasn't doing shit for him. Well it didn't do shit for me either. I do know that Rebound XT by designer supps when taken in generous doses definetly ups the testosterone. But like people have said It doesn't matter how good the supplement is if you dont have a good diet and workout to match it. Weight gainers are crap like other people have said, they are loaded with outrageous amounts of sugar...If you havn't seen Southpark- WeightGainer 4000, you should...Lol. If your trying to gain weight eliminate the cardio... And you only need to work out 5 times a week for like 90 Minutes max...
