Keep wanting to ask if this happens to anyone else on here. From doing alittle research it seems like anytime your hormons fluxuate this can be a side effect. Also seems like it could maybe be a thyroid problem.
Sometimes im totally dry but my face and neck feel super hot. and my neck is drenched. Ill sweat alittle everywhere else too. But my neck is like totally drenched. Usually happends at night before bed, and while im actually sleeping.
Anyone else get this. Is it anything to be worried about

Yes it happens to me to dont know why i put it down to high BP but have no facts to back this.

Brad.

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah im pretty sure its just cause im fucking with my hormones. Im gonna get my thyroid checked though just to be safe. Just in case.
Anyone else sweat a ton mostly just around there neck?

your body has millions of sweat glands all over, including your neck and they play a vital role in the natural process of thermo-regulation.

all steroids cause sympathetic nervous system Stimulation to a degree. The sympathetic nervous system is located in the spine and connected to the internal organs, the blood vessels and the skin. Its functions include the regulation of many important functions of the body, such as the movement of food through the digestive system, the excretion of urine or the production of sweat.

This kind of sympathetic nervous system Stimulation often has a larger effect on the "eccrine glands" . Eccrine glands are common on the forehead, neck, and back. These glands respond to elevated body temperature due to environmental heat or physical exercise as well as the "fight or flight" adrenal response and "hormonal increase". Emotionally stresses also cause activation of the eccrine glands.

So its easy to see how steroids and there effect on Nero transmission, sympathetic nervous system, adrenal system can all cause an activation in the eccrine glands thus causing a lot of neck sweat. You may have more eccrine glands then most people so you end up with much more excessive neck sweat..

Anyway That is my useless fact of the day.

Yes... It goes with the territory. I don't know why it happens, but I'll try to remember to ask my doctor next time. The other sweat issue is my armpits. Not any new odor problem, but soaked all the time. I can't wear any shirts that change color when wet.

Bro I was wondering the same dam thing!!! My neck sweats like crazy sometimes, especially when I'm sleeping and I wake up with a wet pillow. I have the same exact problem as you. I don't think it's a major issue. My BP is good and if it was a thyroid problem you would probably be gaining weight or losing weight quickly, right?

Your head is the hottest part of your body. Your neck is a high release point in heat and is the quickest way to cool you down. If you notice when it's really really hot outside you may see a few people that are sporting wet rags and put them around their neck. They actually made a bulky device that you put water in and it had fans on and the metal and plastic got really cool. It was too bulky and uncomfortable for anyone to wear to make effective!

Just my 2 cents.

Ok wow. Lots of replys. Sounds normal while messin with your hormones. Nice to know im not the only one. Its alittle annoying. But id rather be bigger and stronger with a sweaty neck.. if thats the price i gotta pay. haha
