Supplements while 'On'

Ulter said:
Just a note on that... You will never know the purity of the material of your finished product. And that makes a huge difference in your results.

Just sayin'

Excellent point. That is why when I buy packaged products I stick with solid names like Universal, Anafit, NOW etc.

The place I get my bulk powders from gets an analysis done on them too & I stick with the big names.

With the 'other' bulk powers I get though...SRCS tests them :verygood:

Here is my current list (taked ED):

Flax 3g
Fish Oil 3g
Policosanol 40mg
Red Yeast Rice 1200mg
CoQ12 60mg
ALCAR 3g
Cranberry Concentrate 1g
Saw Palmetto 160mg
Lycopene 10mg
Phosphatidylserine 500mg
Chocamine 2g
Glucosamine, Chondroitin w/ MSM 1.2g/1g/300mg
NAC 500mg
Milk Thistle 1g
CLA 3g
Animal Pak (2 packs per day)
AIFM 1 spray (or more depending on need)
Garlic 2g
L-Tyrosine 5g
Taurine 5g
Glutamine 20g
Creatine 5g
Yohimburn ES (4-6 squirts before working out)
ON 100% Whey
Two gallons of water
Tyler’s (4 tabs per day while on orals but I decided to skip the orals for this cycle so no Tyler’s)

I obviously do not take everything all at once. I have a pill case set so I take what I need at the appropriate time etc. The only supplement I am not consistent with is Yohimburn - I cannot for the life of me remember to stick it on every day before I hit the gym. A few of the items above I have been playing with recently (Chocamine for example) and they are not ‘normal’ supplements that I run during a cycle. Some of them are, as I call them, “foundation supplements”, i.e. Red Yeast Rice, for cholesterol., that are absolutely necessary to control adverse side effects.

I have yet to play with a NO supplement. I need to jump on the stack the AF Store is offering but at this point I am satisfied with my supplementation program. I have everything from basic nutrition to liver, kidneys and cholesterol covered. I have used the majority of the above supplements for every cycle and my blood work comes back rock solid.

The two big supplements I need to add are Sesapure (for cholesterol) and Cissus (for tendons/joints). Feel free to give me some feedback if I missed any ‘wonder’ supplements.

FYI Cycle is:

Wk 1-11 Sus 250mg E4D
Wk 1-12 EQ 600mg/wk (300mg Monday morning/300mg Thursday evening)
I may run the EQ for 14 weeks.
No orals

Originally I was going to run Test Cyp but I have some old Sus I need to use and I have 11 weeks worth of it so that is what I am using this time around. I was going to run an oral (I also have Tyler’s on hand) but I decided against it this time around.

PCT will be HCG (I have not decided on what protocol to use yet) and the standard AIFM or nolva & Clomid 17 days after last EQ shot.

I will run this supplement program until my next blood work which will happen one week after PCT is done.

On a cheesy note, I dedicate this post to everyone here who has posted solid information over the past few years. I’ve been taught by good people that I need to take this game seriously and cover all of my bases. May we all stay healthy and fit in our fitness endeavors!

You do know that your liver is going to fu**** up pretty soon, right? If you do is good to know you are aware of the effects of taking all those pills.

his liver will be fine
the liver is a giant chemical processing center
it is mealry doing its job. and nothing he is taking is taxing on the liver anyhow. If anything the supplements are helping the liver do its job

screw the supps. it's a scam. that market is for newbies/nattys/teens and college kids with money to burn. i know i did. on top of that, who knows what that shit will do to ya. IF they do have any effect it would be negligible compared to aas. just pound down the red meat. 8 steaks a day should do it (3lbs). no joke bro's.

i do however support AIFM usage but I don't consider that a supp.

I tend to disagree that supps do not help. I find that PERSONALLY they help me a lot. Now I do NOT go to GNC, but I take a variety of Vitamins and Minerals, along with items such as Sesapure and Green Tea Extract. I run Creatine, Glutamine, and Taurine pretty much non-stop. I don't buy into trends though. If I hear about a product I research the science behind and, and if it sounds logical I give it a try. I agree taht AAS work, and work well, but supplements do just that, supplement.

I get my blood tested 4-6 times per year depending on how I have my cycles laid out and they come back perfect each time.

None of the supplements above have negative effects on the liver.

I have done oral only cycles, for example winstrol, and I have had my cholesterol levels at the same level at the end of the cycle - same goes for the liver and kidneys. I have the blood work to prove that certain aspects of my supplementation has drastically improved my blood work. My doc shit her pants when I went in and got my HDL tested at 60 when it was 20 before. My LDL has never been over 100.

I 've lost count at the posts I have read that say "Shit! My HDL is zero and my LDL is 400! Why?!?!" The reason why is that they didn't take their EFA's, Red Yeast Rice which have ben established at keeping levels in check. People complain their damn kidney's hurt yet they refuse to drink over a gallon of water per day and refuse to take a cranberry extract tab. Why drink three glasses of cranberry juice with all of the unnecessary carbs when I can take a tab with a glass of water Why bother eating 2lbs of fish when I can get the EFA's in three tabs.

Go out a do AAS and don't take care of your body & don't get your blood work done and you will be worse off - guaranteed.

When I have the time I'll post the exact reasons behind every supplement I have listed above.

If the capsule company could slam all that shit into one cap I'd be your number #1 customer!
maby not one cap but at least cut it down to like 3 or so.youre taken like 40 difrant things a day must get tireing.

Here are the specific reasons why each supplement is used. If I am not taking orals I generally do not take the supplements designated for orals. Items marked with stars (*) I recognize as being questionable for the purpose listed yet based on what I have read I have decided to integrate them into my cycle supplement program.

When off cycle I stick with the basics which are the Basic Body Building Supplements, multi vitamin, and fish oil (and a few others).

Also, cholesterol management is a long term process that requires a solid diet and proper supplementation year round.

For cholesterol (HDL and LDL) management:

Flax 3g
Fish Oil 3g
Policosanol 40mg*
Red Yeast Rice 1200mg
CoQ12 60mg (Red Yeast Rice effect CoQ12 in the body so this is needed if taking Red Yeast Rice)
Garlic 2g*

Kidneys: (very important if taking orals or Tren)
Cranberry Concentrate 1g
Two gallons of water

Liver: (very important if taking 17A orals)
NAC 500mg (good anti-oxidant, assists in the metabolism of protein etc.)
Milk Thistle 1g*
Tyler’s

Prostate:
Saw Palmetto 160mg*
Lycopene 10mg* (dual benefit with cholesterol management)

Joints:
Glucosamine, Chondroitin w/ MSM 1.2g/1g/300mg (I highly recommend this to those suffering from joint pain)

General Health and Wellness:
Animal Pak (2 packs per day)
Phosphatidylserine 500mg (I take this for noo benefits but it is good for many other things, energy, mood cortisol)*

AI:
AIFM 1 spray (or more depending on need)

Basic Body Building Supplements: (all of this goes into my daily whey shakes)
L-Tyrosine 5g
Taurine 5g
Glutamine 20g
Creatine 5g
ON 100% Whey

Weight/Energy Management (If needed):
Yohimburn ES (4-6 squirts before working out)
ALCAR 3g (also energy, noo benefits)
CLA 3g (may adversely effect LDL levels – keeping an eye on this & I may drop it)

Also, I have two annual physicals and I get my blood work done before and after every cycle.
