Ok a little update diet is going well I am looking leaner suits are in new shoes are in protan is in. Only thing I might get is some new jewlery and makeup. Now I just have to make sure the body comes in.

Yesterday workout was great strenght is still going up.

Rack deads 225 x 12, 235 x 8, 245 x 6, 275 x 3
High cable rows 120 x 12, 135 x 8, 150 x 6
Bent DB row 55 x 12, 65 x 8 x 2
EZ curl BB 60 x 12, 50 x 16 x 2
Hammer curls 30 x 8, 25 x 12 x 2

I am going to see a friends comp on Saturday so excited really going to help my motivation :)

Low calories more cardio less carbs and I am still getting strong :D

Lever bench last night 180 x 8 <<< Yet another PR
 
Ok lets see little updates last week was still making some PR's Lever bench is up to 200 lbs no shit why can't I free bench be that much. My squats and DL numbers have kinda stalled though not losing strength just not gaining at 7 weeks out I am not going to complain about strength to much. For me my strength tends to drop off around 2 weeks out.

Lower body is starting to come together shedding some bf on the hams finally. Upper body is pretty dam jacked. I am getting looks when I wear a tank tops etc. It has been warm here for this time of the year so I been out and about in sleeveless tops. I was at the store the other day and the cashier was like holy crap your ripped. LOL I don’t think so but it was nice to hear.

6 weeks out today. I have to take some new pics when my roomie is around he went on a bus tour or something today. So hopefully should have him around tomorrow to take some pics.

I took a yoga class today. As I have been thinking more and more about doing fitness. Last night I was trying to do the 6 manditories and let me tell ya I can't do the splits to save my life. My flex ability is not at all where it should be. I can hold the straddle for almost 2 seconds but my face don't look pretty doing it. I was laughing at myself as these fitness girls look so grace full and effortless when doing there routines.

I been telling myself for weeks now that I will take a yoga class on the weekend but never do tell today. I did alright actually, I haven't done any type of yoga in like 5 years or so I was pretty impressed with myself. I am going to try to keep it up as I know that stretching helps with recovery. Also my muscles feel great very relaxed.

You are figure now right?
I would love to compete in fitness also. I can do the splits and stuff, but not the gymnatstic part of it. Most of those girls can do like crazy flips and handsprings, right?

Yes I am in figure right now but to be honest last year I felt very let down after the show and it had nothing to do with my placing and everything to do with the feeling is that it? I dunno fitness is a huge challange for me don't know if I could ever do it and be competative but I really would love to learn the moves and see what I could do. I do also love body building because of the posing routines etc. My main issue with body building is the direction it takes at a pro level. If female body building was still the way it was when Cory Everson was around I would be competing in it no doubt that look to me is perfect.
For fitness if you can do the dancing and gymnatics it is great but really to compete in fitness you just have to be able to prefect the 6 manadatories 3 of them being strength (straddle, pike and one arm push up) and 3 being flexablitly (front split, side split and high kick.) Anything else you can do on top of the manditories is icing on the cake basically.

Where would you go to learn the ropes of fitness competition? I don't know any fitness competitors. In fact, it seems like there are very few these days because of the figure division. When I competed at the Bodyrock, which is where the Monica Brant Fitness classic is, there were only 3 fitness competitors in the whole show!! And I thought that was supposed to be one of the big fitness shows.
I feel the same way about bb. I would love to compete again, but I'm kind of at a standstill because I don't really know which direction to take with it.
 
SOme of the pros have fitness camps - Jen Hendershott comes to mind.

You could think about doing some obstacle course comps ......
