I have been doing sub-q shots for almost 2 weeks now, done one each day. Its my first time to do them.
I have been using insulin needles, but when I have been doing them I have been grabbing a pinch of skin on my abdomen, injecting at 90degrees then releasing the skin.
I have just read somewhere that you are supposed grab a fold of skin, insert the needle, then release the skin then inject.
Should I have been releasing the fold of skin before injecting the fluid? Is what I have been doing dangerous?
