Well, the article said that this was on the heels of a rash of religious themed vandalism on the campus.
Imagine for a second the jews having to endure going to school with swastikas painted on their doors, in the hallways, etc.
The kid is obviously an asshole who deserves to be expelled from school. I doubt that he will actually get charged with the hate crime. It is too far of a stretch. However, the school could and should expel his hateful ass.
