About 3 months ago, I ordered some 300mg/ml Test Enan from TF. I also got some 200mg/ml Deca.
I gave it to 2 friends for their second cycle. Last Tuesday, they shot 2 ml of Deca into one glute and and 2ml of Test into the other glute.
Within the day they each had a fist sized lump on one glute (we now think it was the Test side) which then got warm to hot. Later the lump turned pinkish/redish color.
Then (this is strange) each knot began to take on the shape of a twinkie ( 5" long and 2" wide.) Then, a couple inches below the twinkie they both got a black and blue spot about 5" in diameter (this took place over a couple of days.)
They both have had a lot of pain (hard to sleep, walk, sit, bend) but no fever. The lumps are no longer warm, but they are still extremely sore. They have noticed a slow reduction in the pain but they are worried about shooting anymore of this until they find out what their reaction might represent.
They got the symptoms so fast, I didnt think it was an abscess. They baked the gear and are scrupulously sanitary and clean in their shot protocol.
Neither of them had this response to gear on their last cycle. Perhaps a little sore from Sust but no "flu" or swelling.
My assumption was that this was a batch of product which TF put too much BA into and that this is a reaction to that. I told them to break it down with some flaxseed oil but did not insist since I used TF before (even some with excess BA) and only got small lumps and sore occassionally.
They are reluctant to shoot anymore even if it is diluted with oil until they understand what happened to them and I dont blame them.
Anyone ever seen this type of reaction to BA? If it is not BA, could it be an abscess without experiencing fever or flu symptoms? Should they go to the doctor?
