Stone Cold beats his wife - WHAT?

Hmm, I guess this solves the work/shoot debate.

WTF. I mean, you can't be too sure it's true, but let's assume for argument's sake it is. I can picture it going down. WTF is going on with this guy? He has no reason to have so much anger as to beat his wife. And WTF is Debra doing putting up with it? She could have ANY guy, and be treated like a goddess. Perhaps she needed to be with celebrity, the top guy in the company. But SCSA isn't anymore, which I think is what his walking out came down to. Pro wrestlers (in my mind at least) have always been different from music/movie stars in that off screen, they were largely nice guys. Some had drug problems, some had family problems, but by and large, they were respectable, hard-working human beings. Then we find out Steve Williams IS a typical white trash, wife-beating, immature redneck who took his ball and went home.

that sucks to hear. but it's not like he was my role model, nor should he be anyone elses role model either. I feel sorry for his wife, but then again what's she doing with a wife beater?

I wonder when this happened, in relation to him "supposedly leaving the WWE?" I wonder if he really went AWOL, then beat his wife.

I saw 2 guys trying to interview Austin the other day, (on tv), and he basically told them to f**k off. He doesn't strike me as a very nice person.

They've all been nice guys? You are under serious misconceptions. Wrestlers are like anyone else. There are ones that are good people and ones that are bad people. And if Stone Cold beats his wife it doesn't shock me one bit. From what I've heard of him I wouldn't think of him beating above it. Now if I were to hear Rock did it would surprise me since anyone I've talked to who's met said his one of of the most down to earth guys you could meat despite his incredible fame.

why do any of them? something i'll never understand

That story sounds like total bullshit. Stone Cold in a corvette with a cell phone? I'm not buying it for a second.

I'm not buying it either...

Besides, if Stone Cold beat her, she had it coming... he's a face now, and would only beat his wife for no reason when he is a heel. ;)

I didn't read the link, so maybe that's why I'm confused. Is this guy a member here?

When police arrived on the scene, Austin had already left in his 2002 Chevrolet Corvette. The police then called Austin on his cell phone and told him to return to his home, and he refused to do so.

Cell phone record.

The police: Austin. Like. Come down here. Yea, we just wanna talk to you.

Austin: Um... No. (Then Austin hangs up.)

The police: Huh... He hung up, imagine that...

[Not taken directly from the actual phone call record. This may not have happened.]

What some weak ass excuses you guys are using here. A corvette and a cell phone.... why is this a factor in the story being legitimate? You can talk on a cell and drive a corvette at the same time? Or do you really thinks he drives around in that huge Stone Cold truck that is the property of WWE?

What has being a face or heel got to do with public relationships? That is just an act, the relationship is reality. People do bad things when they are not on camera. Deborah got her divorce when another wrestler (mongo) who was her husband was making a face turn as a last ditch effort to save his career.

Dudes don't believe everything you see on tv gives you an in depth knowledge of the person. It ain't so.

I was merely pointing out that Stone Cold doesn't seem like the type of guy to be driving a yellow corvette and using a cell phone. In one of the fanatic type shows he was driving 4-wheelers and a fullsize 4wd pickup truck (not the tv SCSA monster trucks). It had little bearing on my thoughts about the validity of the story. As it turns out, it appears that the story is true. This also lends credit to the fact that his walking out wasn't just a work like many thought. Plus the fact that he has been officially removed from the superstars bios on wwe.com.

It not a matter of how much anger you have, its a matter of controlling it.

Stone Cold is a bad-ass though. And from what i've known of him. He'll punch ANYONE, woman, man, wife, whoever. His wife should know this guy beats up people for a freakin' living. What do you expect.

I can't fucking believe this! For the first time in my life I have to agree with a cop! BTW, I still hate them.
