i've been reading about how HRT can improve heart function and also how steroid abuse can cause heart damage and heart attacks. how much do you guys think would be considered abuse?
 
depends on the steroid.

but in general abuse would be someone who is 300 pounds and 30% bf who takes steroids and sends their already high bp sky rocketing. that would be abuse.

you should be <15% to even consider roids. and that is for someone older then 30... if you are younger you should be <12%
 
the less out of shape you are and starting a cycle the more the risks,i personally thinks somone should commit at least 5-6 years hard training before even touching steroids
 
the hearts a muscle. it will respond to stress and aas. the amount and duration used are a big part of the issue. i think t3 and clen are much worse for the heart than most aas. anything 17aa that plays with cholesterol too much also contributes. same with bp. its actually better to have high bp consistently than varying levels. thats what my nephrologist told me and thats part of his specialty.

go ahead and post this crap on some forums like Bad Attitude GymEliteFTS, Fortified Iron, Go Heavy, Outlaws, PowerliftingUK ,Wanna Be Big. Or walk op to about 85% of any of the defensive tackles in the NFL and say that to there face lmao.. Pretty sure many of them have and will be living long and healthy lives my friend.

Well 30% is really pushing it but enough then.. There is many many things people do that can cause health problems. From the crap they sell in pre packed feed containers and cans, bk and mc-d's , smaking, drinking, eating candy, all kinds of shit all over the place causes health problems of all kinds.

I think taking some lower doses of steroids when you are above 15% body fat Don't seem to rank that much higher on the sharts of un healthy things one could do if you ask me. I mean if that was the only unhealthy thing you were doing then what ever.

Now if you are drinking all the time, smoking butts, eating triple cheese burgers and pizza, well hardly working out at all and injecting steroids. I think you might want to change that before its to late....

Yep, especially winny, screwed up my lipids so bad it scared me half to death.

I think the only roid that is safe to some point is TEST.

this is the dangerous mystery. everyone is different and can handle diferent amounts. its not just steroids though. big diets, excess weight, hard training, stimulants, steroids, stress all are a part of the equasion that lead to heart problems. i was lucky enough to survive my lesson.

the bottom line is no matter how careful you think you are and no matter how much you think you are keeping things under control you are adding to your risk if you are gaining excess mass.

moderation is the key. if you can just use low doses, train smart, carry a little extra size, eat healthy, stay active with running biking ect, then you can cut your risks by a lot while still having your fun with it. of course this can be done naturally to.

trt for those who have low test is another story.
 
Ditto, for me "never again" watch out for TREN too, that shit will kill you off as quick as
winny!

1st run with deca took me nearly a year to recover. i learned from that experience that deca, anadrol, tren, npp, and any other nandro is off my list. test, eq, primo, and masteron (which i just started for the 1st time and can already feel the hardening effects) are all ill take. no stimulants either.

Same here, only thing I'll use is Test, Eq .I thought Masteron is as bad as tren and winny!
 
Testosterone is heart healthy. Most everything else isn't, especially orals. But too much test will increase blood pressure which puts a strain on the heart.

Like all steroids, it's effective immediately. But you should start to see results in a couple of weeks, which makes people mistakenly think it takes that long to "kick in."
 
i use test only now 200mg a week for most of the year and if i want to cycle I do 400mg for a while then back to 200 mg works great and i look better now then i ever did when i used to do alot more gear in a cycle weird maybe i train and eat better now-

good question i would like to hear more on how test is healthy for the heart and any studies

also how much is unsafe?
 
yes i was reading that they were giving heart attack victims test injections to strenthen their heart and all of them showed improvements.
