I used some Deca when rehabilitating a pec tear surgery. Problem here is that alot of the pain that was present before the Deca seemed to disappear once the Deca kicked in. I felt 100% better and the pulling, burning, tight feeling I had post surgery quickly started fading. This gave me a false since of confidence( I hadnt trained AT ALL for 8-10 weeks and I was eager to get back in the gym)and i started lifting too freely too quick. At this time I was doing nothing more for chest other than benches with the bar and 20pd pec decs. Long story short, I ended up tearing again a couple weeks into my traing(really bad this time)....lost 80% of clavicular head, 60% of sternal head. And i had this tear doing single-arm tricep cable kickbacks with like 15 pds. I swear the quick build up of the surrounding muscles after that lay off really contributed to me having to much confidence about were I was in my rehab. Fuck deca...Good for nagging joint/tendon(tore mine at the pec/bi tendon insertion) issues but sometimes we gotta realize we our masking the discomfort and not necessarily fixing the problem. Shoulda used GH instead dammit

anavar (oxandrolone) and growth hormone are supposed to be useful especially in combination for rehabbing joint/ligament/tendon issues.

I recently had a plate and screws put in my right ankle, due to a motorcross accident . The landing was not very friendly ;however, i have been told that gear would help with the healing process. Does anyone know the answer to this question? If the answer is yes, what kind or kinds do you suggest? I have used gear for a C4 and C5 kneck injury when the three epidural blocks i had done did not work .Gear was the only thing that did .

+1 They will feel better with Deca, but when its out of the system, the "lube" effect on your joints will leave too. If you can't have surgery, and you are going to try something, you might want to try Adequan. I posted this on a thread like this.

You might want to take a look into Adequan. It's an injectible vet drug and its active ingrediant is polysulfated glycosaminoglycan (PSGAG). It is supposed to have several great benefits. It is supposed to relieve pain and diability of a joint damage, and the relief is said to last up to six months, maybe even longer. It works by binding to damaged cartilage and boosting its metabolism, which greatly helps the repair. And at the same time, it blocksthe actions of destructive enzymes that promote inflammation, break down of the synovial fluid, and attacks of the enzymes on the cartilage. One last benefit from it is that Adequan stimulates new synovial fluid to replace the thin, degraded fluid around the joints. This helps lubricate, nourish, and clean the cartilage.
Stacking that with IGF-1 should be great. You can even do it all during a cycle. IGF-1, unlike most steroids, acts on skeletal muscle AND connective tissues. Do two short four-week mini-cycles of IGF-1 at around 10 mcg/day, with two weeks off IGF-1 in between.
These two should make a HUGE difference for anyone who's had a lot of wear and tear from iron or any other overuse injuries.

Swole said cissus was the shit. I'd at least give it a try if I were you.

I do agree with you on the IGF, it seems to be working really good on conective tissues, and maybe on tendons but not sure.
Deca is a no go as far as Im concerned UNLESS you take it to dull the pain and give time to heal. It helps but it gives a false sense of healing. Best to use test prop with some oral and IGF. Works quicker than HGH. Do a 4 week protocol which doesnt shut your system down that much and you will have a quicker recovery.

Hgh if its in the budget! Deca might Seem to hide a problem an it prolly does to some extent but it will keep it lubed up and prevent more damage DEPENDING on whats wrong with it right now.... I use deca for these reasons about 300mls a week along with some test... But ya like the others go see a doctor

I have a recuring shoulder injury that i have suffered with for about 8 mths and ive tried everything, phsio , cold , heat , rest you name it ive tried it. I even laid off for 2 months and took it really easy when i got back , but first heavy training session and pop it went again.

I have been told by some guys at the gym that Deca Durabolin will help heal my injury for strenghen it . Can anyone give some advice on this. It will be my first time taking gear so some advice of dosage would be great too.

Im a boxer , not a lifter so my goal is recovery not size , if that makes a difference.

Hope someone can help cos not going to gym is driving me insane.

Restrain yourself from taking anything heavy like deca while your ligaments are healing. It may lube up your joints but it sure as hell won't fix the problem.

Stick to some mild compounds and take it slow.

I had a full shoulder reconstruction in 2006. Ligaments tightened, bone taken from my hip and used to repair the shoulder ball-and-joint socket. Used small dosages of orals 2 weeks after surgery and it definitely helped maintain my weight and strength while waiting for everything to heal. No problems so far (used to sublox several times a day).
