Sounds like there's a lot of advice here about depression from people who know jack-shit about it and have never suffered from it.
I agree that coming off the juice brings on depression, but that passes.
I have suffered from depression most of my adult life.
I have a relatively stress-free, high-paying job, a beautiful wife, a gorgeous 13 month old boy, a fantastic home and no money problems or personal problems to speak of.
My depression is caused by a chemical imbalance & Prozac fixes it.
A chemical imbalance - end of story.
I agree that medication may not be needed in every case, and that sometimes prescribing anti-depressants is an easy quick-fix, but this is not the case with everybody.
Just for the record, I love being on the juice. It motivates me to train harder, eat better, lead a healthier lifestyle and sends my self-image through the roof. When I come off my cycle, I'll reduce the AS dosages, begin PCT and adjust my training accordingly. Any depression from 'juice-withdrawl' passes quickly and it's back to business as usual.
I've found this forum to be an invaluable place for gaining advice, but I guess not everyone engages their brain before setting their mouth in motion.
I'll get off my soapbox now...
Peace out.
