Starting very detailed Osta/s4 cycle

Looking good I hope you keep this going. I am also curious to see how well this cycle treats you. How old are you? how long you been weight training? What are some of your numbers in the gym It would be nice to see how your strength is effected? Just the main lifts like bench, squat, deadlift if anything.

Good luck! and welcome to EF

im 29, been weight lifting for a few yrs seriously but I started out at 260 and at 40%+ bodyfat. When I first started I could barely bench 80lbs...

Now im under 15%bf, can bench more than my bodyweight, and my next short term goal is single digit bodyfat %.

I lift to challenge my body, not to "max out"- I really dont care about my max. I care about how I look mostly. But I focus in the gym on how much I can lift with good form, and I just add weight as often as I can. I maintain slow tempo reps, and as much freeweights and iso work as I can because unlike the average joe im very limited with what I can do.

8-12rep sets with good form and slow tempo:

flat bench: 205lbs
inverted leg press: 580

I realize that those numbers aren't outright impressive, so glimpse at the pic and see what im workin with. Benching 200+ holding the bar between your index finger and middle finger is no joke painful. Anyway, this is also a pic of roughly where im starting at body-wise. Its a terrible pic in shitty lighting, but whatever here it is for comparison in 4-6weeks.

Sounds like you have already accomplished quite a bit congrats on the weight loss brother! I dont do any 1 rep maxes either I was just curious as to what you are averaging to see if those numbers go up. Even a couple pounds is a strength increase I understand that "max out" isnt important to you. Just curious if you feel stronger on this cycle.

Good Luck and keep killin it!!!!!!!

I want to be true to what the stack does and eliminate the "placebo" effect of training harder because of the fact that im on something extra, but I'll say that yesterday and today both brought extra sets, extra pounds, and significantly less join pain (from holding bars between fingers, etc)

Chest/triceps today. Anytime I go over 200 on the bench I usually have a spotter or at least a friend nearby in case I get in trouble with grip issues with the right hand. Hit 205 today and thought "man this doesn't feel that bad". Kicked it up 10lbs, and did another set, then waited a couple minutes and did it again. First day ive done presses and not had wrist or join pains afterwards in I cant remember how long. Usually its so bruised and swollen it looks like its been hit with a hammer. I got home, felt great, and got bored. Went BACK to the gym and did some medium weight pyramid sets just to sauce it up and exhaust chest a bit more. Strength and joints are showing a definite improvement since starting the stack. I've had some guys tell me this stack was a (natty) miracle for their recomp, and some guys say it was total waste of cash. I think my body is responding very well, and I dont care what others say -so far Im convinced its worth every cent.

Regarding side effects: Im sleeping better, but noticed today after walking into the gym from outside that it took a bit to adjust. It was like someone put sunglasses on me as soon as I walked in. 20secs or so later my eyes adjusted, but it was enough to let me know it happened. Thats all Ive noticed during the day. Nighttime is a whole other monster though. I live in a large house in the country, so unless I leave lights on its pretty dark in here. I've gotten to where I leave a small lamp or something on in each room if Im up late- the night vision is no joke. I wake up in the middle of the night and literally cant see my hand in front of my face unless I turn a light on.

Seriously that drop in vision during night time sucks bad I remember I went to disneyland with my girl and went into one of those 4D attractions and I nearly fell over some kid cause I didnt see him infront of me. Anyways your lifts are already impressive so it will be interesting how much they improve on this stuff while keeping you lean! Keep it up wabbit

thanks man. its motivating to know that people are actually payin attention to how this is goin. I read so many logs where the dude just disappeared after a week, etc. I want people to be able to make a sound decision since this stuff is kinda new.

and lol @ disneyland. when my girl and i walked into the movies saturday I held her hand and followed her to the seat. I couldnt see -shit-. Its just amusing now, but I can definitely see how this side could be annoying/unsafe for some people. (id never ride my motorcycle on this stuff at night, etc)

i was -starving- last night. had a chicken breast later than i usually like to eat. woke up this morning starving too. Dont know if thats normal on this stack, but I haven't made any changes to my caloric intake.

Weekly weigh-in: 185 I'll be doing a bodpod test every 2 weeks on this cycle to note any bodyfat changes. I'll post slips next week when I do it.

This morning I ate breakfast, hit some cardio, and now Im headed to the gym.

No problem dude I would want people to join in on my logs if I ever posted one! And thats the one thing I don't miss about S4..well the second thing cause the night vision is bad but the taste is horrid. But the benefits are awesome!

Chicken breast isnt bad bro its not like you had ice cream sandwichs but your metabolism might be increasing don't quote me on that either way Im sure you being hungry isn't a bad thing. Noticing anything in your lifts yet?? It only gets better from here!

Update: Leg day today- strength was up something incredible. I'm doing more weight, more reps, and my joints arent hurting at all. Thus far this stack has been a miracle for my workouts.

Bodpod appointment for Tuesday morning, I'll post details.

Exercise log for the weeks reflects the following:

Leg Press- weight + 50 and reps + 6
Bench Press- weight + 25 and reps + 4
1 mile run - down 27seconds to 6:51.

Compliments at pool - 7 or 8. My boss specifically asked what ive been "taking". Felt good.

Even found myself doing double sets for my heavy sets this week.

One of biggest improvements- joint pain is down to zero. Id take this stuff for that ALONE, let alone the performance differences.
