4 days this week of fruits and veggies

Eating a peach now, so yummy. Gonna hit up a farm stand today and get some good stuff

Solid meals

Chix rice veggies (greens)

I'm at 230
Don't want to put pics up

I might when I conquer my fatass and get down to 185

I've started a new routine that's heavy on plants/veggies. Some fruit. Some fish. I don't count cals or even plan the types of food. Just go to the store or farmers market every couple days and pick random new plants out, bring em home and make new recipes. It adds some excitement to the whole process.

At first it's hard, you train urself to like it ^_^
I'm eating oatmeal, brown rice, lentils, no sugar, soy patties, all the stuff I used to hate is becoming more and more attractive :)

I dished off a California Pizza Kitchen Pizza and another 1/2 last night around midnight, and then proceeded to smoke 2 cloves...

This morning has been a combination left over Pf Chang and 5 hour energy drinks...
Cloves galore...

This shit ends this month though...

agreed 100%....eating healthy is way easier when you mix it up, try new foods/recipes/concoctions.....

so far today, i've had a couple of protein shakes, a thomas's 100% whole wheat bagel with butter, a big honkin' salad with lettuce/tomato/crumbled blue cheese/bacon/craisans/ham/turkey/cheddar cheese/italian dressing, a couple handfuls of roasted almonds, and lean hamburger with mushroom gravy over a bag of steamed mixed vegetables. . .
 
why so late? You still working on extensions?

i have several business valuation and forensic accounting engagements that i must complete before vacation. . .plus, my friggin hard drive crashed on monday and put me out of commission for like a day and a half. . .
 
I ate some fat free sugar free yogurt and a medium carrot when all of a sudden my bosses come in with grilled cheese and ham sandwiches they bought for every one... Dman it.... it was yummy though ^_^

No will power, you are weak. Ham+Cheese= Lard Ass. Im just playing wit you, I am very luck in the fact that I eat what ever I want and stay around 8 to 10 % BF. But it also enables me to give other people shit for the way they eat.LOL:p

Another yogurt and carrot for today.... when the one's I bought are over I'm switching to plain yogurt... yucky but better.... :)

Nangiggl ~ I've been eating lots of FF vanilla yogurt mixed with natural granola and fruit for breakfast....and then baby carrots dreched in fresh squeezed lemon juice for snacks.

but this morning I had BK :worried:
 
I'd been eating FF sugar free yogurt, corn flakes cereal(no sugar) or oatmeal for breakfast... but will now switch to plain yogurt with fruit and/or multigrain cereal..... I love one called All inclusive that has rice, corn flakes, grain, sesame seends, honey, almonds and oats... yummy ^_^
 
i just ate half a can of chocolate chip cookies that came with our quill order. . .i love saturdays!

imho, losing weight is 80% diet 20% excercise and pure will, you can't cheat, at all, not one cheat day or your glycogen levels will spike and you'll want to cram sugar and fats for days after. Maybe that's just my opinion, but the thing is, after you lose the weight the hardest part is keeping it off. If you think you can just drop 40 lbs in a few months, then start eating like you did before your diet, it's going to bounce back real quick. Alot of people don't think about that, they just wanna see it come off quick.

The best way is to give it all up, completely change your lifestyle of eating forever, don't look at it like a short term diet, look at it like you're sober now and don't want to relapse. When I started eating right it took me about a month and then I would love the taste of healthy foods that I hated prior to eating correctly. Stuff like steamed broccolli, salad with super light dressing, plain chicken/tuna w no ketchup/hot sauce/mayo. Then after about 6 months of eating so good, I had this one day where I was fiending some pizza and wings, BAM instantly after eating only a few slices and 6 wings I was feeling sick as hell, all bloated, shitting for hours, lethargic and sweating. It was nuts

every week. . .for 52 weeks a year. . .i start my cheat on friday night and i end it on sunday after lunch. . .been doing it for 10+ years. . .yeah, going "back in my cage" is kinda tough and mondays kinda suck sometimes. . .but, i'm weird. . .i actually "enjoy" that craving on monday. . .it's challenging. . .heck, sometimes it's downright painful. . .then again, my time in the gym is downright painful sometimes too. . .my "lifestyle" probably wouldn't work for a lot of people. . .it requires a fair amount of willpower. . .especially if i have some kind of business function or what-have-you to attend in the middle of the week. . .it would be real easy to say "what the heck? it's only one day.". . .but i don't do it. . .at 44 years of age, my body is very susceptible to "change", and not in a good way. . .it's a balancing act. . .and i have to listen to my body, not the cravings (those are all mental, for the most part). . .i watch the mirror, i see things happening, it zigs, i zag. . .so far, i'm winning :)

lots of water

and apple, yogurt and carrot sticks for breakfast

for breakfast 4 eggwhites and plain whole grain bread with cantaloupe :p
 
i was wasted and ate a whole flat iron steak tonight

shit was prolly 12 inches long 4 inches wide and about 3/4 in thick

it was as big as the medium sized george forman grill...

grilled some filet mignon last night. Had brown rice with it, grilled tomatoes and green peppers, corn on the cob cooked on the grill, and garlic toast. Good shit. Filet was sooo good, tender, juicy...mmm.
